With six players in double figures, Dragan Sakota's team took the victory, with Gray emerging as the top scorer with 19 points, while he also collected five rebounds. Lekavicius followed him with 18 points, while Nunnally stopped at 16.

On the other hand, Harris recorded an excellent performance with 21 points, four rebounds and the same number of assists, with Grant and Tucker following him, scoring 19 and 17 points, respectively.

After this result, AEK rose to 14-4, while Prometheus fell to 6-12.

The match

Both teams started quite aggressively, going hand in hand in the score in the first minutes of the match (6-8). Then the home team managed to take a small lead of four points, with Gray nailing the shot and making it 14-10. The visitors found solutions and stayed close to the score, but AEK managed to stay ahead, after baskets by Lekavicius, with the first quarter ending with 24-21 in favor of AEK.

Dragan Sakota's players started the second quarter quite dynamically, quickly escaping with 12 points (28-26). The visitors completely lost their rhythm, with AEK taking advantage of it and being excellent on both sides of the court, reaching the difference up to +20 (50-30). Coleman and Gray provided solutions for the attack for Prometheus, slightly reducing the difference, with AEK going into the locker room with the lead (52-38).

Prometheus presented a different face at the beginning of the second half, approaching six, after three-pointers by Gray and Harris (59-53). However, AEK reacted immediately to the outbreak of Prometheus, quickly making the difference double digits again (70-54). The home team stepped on the gas, managing to close the third period with a difference of 20 points. (77-57).

The picture of the game did not change in the last part of the match, with AEK continuing to dominate on both sides of the floor, reaching an easy victory.

Η ΑΕΚ ήταν τρομερή και δεν δυσκολεύτηκε κόντρα στον Προμηθέα, επικρατώντας με 102-85, για την 20ή αγωνιστικής της Stoiximan GBL, με τους κιτρινόμαυρους πλέον να στρέφουν το βλέμμα τους στην αναμέτρηση με την Τόφας για το BCL.

Με επιστροφές στο ρόστερ της η ΑΕΚ εντυπωσίασε και στις δύο πλευρές του παρκέ, σημειώνοντας μία άνετη νίκη κόντρα στον Προμηθέα με 102-85, στο πλαίσιο της 20ης αγωνιστικής της Stoiximan GBL, με του κιτρινόμαυρους πλέον να επικεντρώνονται στο ματς με την Τόφας για το Basketball Champions League.

Με έξι διψήφιους παίκτες η ομάδα του Ντράγκαν Σάκοτα πήρε τη νίκη, με τον Γκρέι να αναδεικνύεται πρώτος σκόρερ με 19 πόντους, ενώ μάζεψε και πέντε ριμπάουντ. Ο Λεκαβίτσιους τον ακολούθησε με 18 πόντους, ενώ ο Νάναλι σταμάτησε στους 16.

Από την άλλη μεριά ο Χάρις κατέγραψε μία εξαιρετική εμφάνιση με 21 πόντους, τέσσερα ριμπάουντ και ισάριθμες ασίστ, με τους Γκραντ και Τάκερ να τον ακολουθούν, πετυχαίνοντας 19 και 17 πόντους, αντίστοιχα.

Μετά από αυτό το αποτέλεσμα η ΑΕΚ ανέβηκε στο 14-4, ενώ Προμηθέας έπεσε στο 6-12.

Ο αγώνας

Αρκετά επιθετικά ξεκίνησαν και οι δύο ομάδες, πηγαίνοντας χέρι-χέρι στο σκορ στα πρώτα λεπτά του ματς (6-8). Στη συνέχεια οι γηπεδούχοι κατάφεραν να πάρουν ένα μικρό προβάδισμα τεσσάρων πόντων, με τον Γκρέι να καρφώνει και να διαμορφώνει το 14-10. Οι φιλοξενούμενοι έβρισκαν λύσεις και έμεναν κοντά στο σκορ, όμως η ΑΕΚ κατάφερε να μείνει μπροστά, μετά από καλάθια του Λεκαβίτσιους, με το πρώτο δεκάλεπτο να ολοκληρώνεται με 24-21 υπέρ της ΑΕΚ.

Οι παίκτες του Ντράγκαν Σάκοτα ξεκίνησαν αρκετά δυναμικά το δεύτερο δεκάλεπτο, ξεφεύγοντας γρήγορα με 12 πόντους  (28-26). Οι φιλοξενούμενοι έχασαν τελείως τον ρυθμός τους, με την ΑΕΚ να το εκμεταλλεύεται και να είναι εξαιρετική και στις δύο πλευρές του παρκέ, φτάνοντας τη διαφορά μέχρι και στο +20 (50-30). Οι Κόουλμαν και Γκρέι έδωσαν λύσεις στην επίθεση για τον Προμηθέα, ρίχνοντας λίγο τη διαφορά, με την ΑΕΚ να πηγαίνει στα αποδυτήρια με το προβάδισμα (52-38).

Ο Προμηθέας παρουσίασε ένα διαφορετικό πρόσωπο στην αρχή του δεύτερου ημιχρόνου, πλησιάζοντας στους έξι, μετά από τρίποντα των Γκρέι και Χάρις (59-53). Ωστόσο, η ΑΕΚ αντέδρασε άμεσα στο ξέσπασμα του Προμηθέα, κάνοντας με γοργούς ρυθμούς ξανά διψήφια τη διαφορά (70-54). Οι γηπεδούχοι πάτησαν το γκάζι, καταφέρνοντας να κλείσουν την τρίτη περίοδο με διαφορά 20 πόντων. (77-57).

Η εικόνα του παιχνιδιού δεν άλλαξε στο τελευταίο μέρος της αναμέτρησης, με την ΑΕΚ να συνεχίζει να κυριαρχεί και στις δύο πλευρές του παρκέ, φτάνοντας σε μία εύκολη νίκη.
