Ακόμα ψαχνόταν ο Παναθηναϊκός
Ο Παναθηναϊκός ξεκίνησε με τον Χολμς βασικό στην πεντάδα, με τους «πράσινους» με τους Σορτς και Χουάντσο να προηγούνται με 4-2 στα 90". Ναν κι Όσμαν μπήκαν κι αυτοί σιγά-σιγά στην εξίσωση, με το «τριφύλλι» στο 4' να διαμορφώνει το 9-6, με τον Τζέφερσον στο 5' να ισοφαρίζει σε 9-9 με τρίποντο. Η ομάδα του Αταμάν απάντησε με σερί 4-0, με τον Σορτς (5π.) στο 6' να κάνει το 13-9, με τη Καρδίτσα όμως να απαντά άμεσα με δικό της 6-0 για το προβάδισμα (13-15) στο 8' και τον Αταμάν να έχει έντονα παράπονα από την «πράσινη» άμυνα. O Έλις μάλιστα στο 9' προηγήθηκε με 15-19, με το «τριφύλλι» να είναι άστοχο από την περιφέρεια (1/6 τριπ.). Το φινάλε του δεκαλέπτου όμως άνηκε σε Καλαϊτζάκη και Τολιόπουλο, με τον δεύτερο με απίθανο buzzer beater τρίποντο να γράφει το 22-21.

Ο Σαμοντούροβ με νέο τρίποντο στην εκκίνηση της δεύτερης περιόδου έκανε το 26-23, με την Καρδίτσα όμως και πάλι να απαντά άμεσα και με σερί 5-0 από τους Δίπλαρο (5π.) και Έλις (9π.) να περνάει μπροστά με 26-28 στο 12'. Ο Τζέφερσον μάλιστα στο 14' με δύο σερί τρίποντα πήγε τους φιλοξενούμενους στο +4 (31-35), με τον Χόχλερ και πάλι έξω από τα 6,75μ. να γράφει το 33-38, με τους φιλοξενούμενους να έχουν 6/11 τρίποντα (54%). Κάπου εκεί πάτησε και πάλι glass floor ο Ναν (12π.), που με 2 συνεχόμενα τρίποντα έβαλε και πάλι μπροστά την ομάδα του Αταμάν (42-41) στο 16', με τους «πράσινου» μετά το αρχικό 1/6 να έχουν 7/10 σουτ από την περιφέρεια (8/17 σύνολο). Σορτς (7π.) και Χολμς στο 18' έγραψαν το 49-45, με τον Ναν (14π.) με alley oop να διαμορφώνει το 51-45. Oι φιλοξενούμενοι όμως με άμεσο σερί 4-0 μείωσαν σε 51-49 στο 20' με τον Κασελάκη, με τον ασταμάτητο Ναν (17π.) να κάνει το 54-49 στο ημίχρονο.
Προσπάθησε να καθαρίσει το ματς με Ναν και Σορτς ο Παναθηναϊκός
Σορτς (9π.) και Ναν (19π.) με την έναρξη της τρίτης περιόδου πήγαν τη διαφορά στους 9 (58-49), με τον Ναν να είναι και πάλι σε μεγάλη μέρα και με τρίποντο να ανεβάζει τον Παναθηναϊκό για πρώτη φορά στους 12 (63-51) και τον ίδιο να φτάνει τους 22 πόντους με 9/11 εντός πεδιάς (3/3 τριπ.). Ο Καμπερίδης όμως στο 24' με τρίποντο μείωσε σε 63-54, με τον Ουάσινγκτον στο 25' με κάρφωμα να κάνει το 63-56. Ο Έλις (14π.) μάλιστα με 2/2 βολές έφτασε το σερί των φιλοξενούμενων στο 7-0 για το 63-58, με τον Χουάντσο στο 27' να απαντά για το 68-60 έξω από τα 6,75μ. Έλις (16π.) και Καμπερίδης όμως με 2 σερί τρίποντα έριξαν και πάλι τη διαφορά στους 4 (70-66), με τον Παναθηναϊκό να μην μπορεί να καθαρίσει ακόμα το ματς. Ο Σορτς (15π.) με 4 συνεχόμενες πόντους όμως και ο Ναν (24π.) στον αιφνιδιασμό επανέφεραν και πάλι τη διαφορά στους 10 (76-66) στο 28', με τον Γιούρτσεβεν στο 29' να κάνει το 78-66, για να τελειώσει το δεκάλεπτο στο 80-70.
Με σφραγίδα και πάλι του Ναν στη νίκη το «τριφύλλι»
Ο Παναθηναϊκός δεν είχε ακόμα καθαρίσει την υπόθεση νίκη, ο Ναν είχε κάτσει στον πάγκο, με την Καρδίτσα με τον Μάντσεν να μειώνει σε 82-74 στην εκκίνηση της τέταρτης περιόδου, αλλά τον Χουάντσο να απαντά άμεσα με τρίποντο για το 85-74 στο 33'. Ο Καμπερίδης (12π., 4/6 τριπ.) στο 34' μείωσε σε 85-77, με τον Μάντσεν στο 35' να γράφει το 85-78 και το παιχνίδι να παίζεται ακόμα. O Xόρχλερ μάλιστα στο 36' μετά από κλέψιμο στον αιφνιδιασμό έκανε το 85-80, με τους «πράσινους» να εμφανίζουν και σημάδια κούρασης στο glass floor κάνοντας συνεχόμενα λάθη και την Καρδίτσα να χάνει 3 αμαρκάριστα σουτ για να φέρει το ματς σε απόσταση βολής. Κάπου εκεί μίλησε και πάλι ο Ναν, που με τρίποντο από τη γωνία πήγε τον Παναθηναϊκό στο +8 (88-80), για να φτάσει τους 27 πόντους (4/4 τριπ.) στο 38', με τον Χολμς στο 39' με κάρφωνα ξαναφέρνει τη διαφορά στους 10 (90-80) και να βάζει σιγά-σιγά τίτλους τέλους στην αναμέτρηση. Ο Τζέφερσον όμως στο 1:39 για τη λήξη με τρίποντο μείωσε σε 90-83, με τον Σαμοντούροβ στα 44" να γράφει το 92-83 και τον Παναθηναϊκό να φτάνει στη νίκη με το 92-85.
