The Rookie of the Year award is increasingly attracting attention as to who will be the top rookie of the year.
More specifically, Kon Knuppel is at the top of the list, impressing in his first NBA appearances with the Hornets.
The number four pick in the 2025 draft is already averaging 17.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
In second place is Cedric Cowand, averaging 14.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
Cooper Flagg rounds out the top three. The number one pick in the 2025 draft, he is averaging 14.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
It is worth noting that Edgecombe is in 5th place on the relevant list, as his numbers are 15.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
