F1 - Brazil: Norris on pole again, disastrous 16th place for Verstappen

Lando Norris was the star of the Formula 1 QP at Interlagos and took the lead for victory in Sunday's race.

The qualifying sessions for the Brazilian Grand Prix, the 21st Formula 1 race in 2025, developed in a subversive way, but had the same star as the previous official procedures.

Lando Norris, with an excellent lap at the end of Q3, recorded a time of 1:09.511 and took pole position for tomorrow's race. His task was not easy as he made a mistake in his first attempt that put him in a difficult position. But the Briton did not give up and tomorrow he wants to make it two for two at Interlagos and increase his gap in the standings even further.

Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes-AMG will start second. The Italian was impressive today, taking his best result in qualifying. Behind them will be Charles Leclerc of Ferrari and Oscar Piastri of McLaren, with the Australian not having the speed to return to pole position.

Shocking result for Red Bull Racing, with Max Verstappen staying only in 16th place with a damaged car and a mistake on his last lap in Q1. So the Dutchman has a… mountain to climb at the Grand Prix in order to save what he can in terms of points in Brazil.

O Λάντο Νόρις ήταν ο πρωταγωνιστής στο QP της Formula 1 στο Ιντερλάγκος και πήρε το προβάδισμα για νίκη στον αγώνα της Κυριακής.

Οι κατατακτήριες δοκιμές του Grand Prix Βραζιλίας, του 21ου αγώνα της Formula 1 στο 2025 εξελίχθηκαν με ανατρεπτικό τρόπο, όμως είχαν τον ίδιο πρωταγωνιστή με τις προηγούμενες επίσημες διαδικασίες.

Ο Λάντο Νόρις με έναν εξαιρετικό γύρο στο τέλος του Q3, έγραψε το 1:09,511 και πήρε την pole position για τον αυριανό αγώνα. Το έργο του δεν ήταν εύκολο καθώς έκανε λάθος στην πρώτη του προσπάθεια που τον έφερε σε δύσκολη θέση. Όμως ο Βρετανός δεν το έβαλε κάτω και αύριο θέλει να κάνει το δύο στα δύο στο Ιντερλάγκος και να αυξήσει κι άλλο τη διαφορά του στη βαθμολογία.

Δεύτερος θα ξεκινήσει ο Κίμι Αντονέλι της Mercedes-AMG. O Ιταλός ήταν και σήμερα εντυπωσιακός παίρνοντας το καλύτερο αποτέλεσμά του σε κατατακτήριες δοκιμές. Πίσω τους θα είναι οι Σαρλ Λεκλέρ της Ferrari και Όσκαρ Πιάστρι της McLaren, με τον Αυστραλό να μην έχει την ταχύτητα να επιστρέψει στις pole position.

Σοκαριστικό αποτέλεσμα στη Red Bull Racing, με τον Μαξ Φερστάπεν να μένει μόλις στη 16η θέση έχοντας ένα κακοστημένο μονοθέσιο και λάθος τον τελευταίο του γύρο στο Q1. Έτσι ο Ολλανδός έχει ένα… βουνό να ανέβει στο Grand Prix ώστε να σώσει ό,τι μπορεί βαθμολογικά στη Βραζιλία.

Ο αγώνας είναι προγραμματισμένος για τις 19:00 ώρα Ελλάδος την Κυριακή.
