Η Άντελεχτ ήταν ανώτερη της Σέριφ Τίρασπολ, την οποία συνέτριψε με 3-0 στην έδρα της στο πλαίσιο του 3ου προκριματικού γύρου του Conference League, παίρνοντας έτσι το πάνω χέρι για την πρόκριση στα playoffs της διοργάνωσης.

Το σκορ άνοιξε μόλις στο 17ο λεπτό ο Νίλσον Ανγκούλο, ενώ νωρίς στο δεύτερο μέρος ο Κάσπερ Ντόλμπεργκ έδωσε μαξιλαράκι ασφαλείας στην ομάδα του, βρίσκοντας δίχτυα στο 48′. Το τελικό σκορ διαμόρφωσε στο 81′ ο Γιάρι Βερσχάρεν, εξέλιξη, η οποία δίνει τεράστιο αβαντάζ στην ομάδα του ενόψει της ρεβάνς η οποία είναι προγραμματισμένη για τις 14 Αυγούστου.

Επισημαίνεται, ότι η ομάδα που θα επικρατήσει σε αυτή τη σειρά θα αντιμετωπίσει τον νικητή του ζευγαριού ΑΕΚ – Άρης Λεμεσού. Το πρώτο παιχνίδι των Κιτρινόμαυρών έληξε ισόπαλο 2-2 στην Κύπρο και πλέον η πρόκριση στα playoffs θα κριθεί στην Αθήνα.
