Olympiacos, Donda Hall: Interest in the American center

Baskonia's Donda Hall is in Olympiacos' sights for the center position behind Nikola Milutinov.

A familiar face from the Euroleague courts has entered Giorgos Bartzokas's block regarding the player who will accompany the Serbian center on the "red and white" racket.

The reason is Donda Hall, who is bound by a contract with Baskonia, however, the possibility of him leaving the Vitoria team is very open.

The American center is of interest to the "red and white" team, who will however have to enter into negotiations with Baskonia in order to acquire him.

There is no specific buy-out in his contract, which means that Olympiacos must sit at the same table with the -always tough negotiator- Kereheta.

It should be noted that the player had "spurred" the "red and white" interest and in the summer of 2022, however, he had chosen to renew with Monaco with a high contract.

Donda Hall has 148 Euroleague games with Monaco and Baskonia jerseys, averaging 7.3 points and 4.9 rebounds, shooting 74% on two-pointers and 69% on shots per 17:58 minutes of participation.

This is a player who fits the "want" of Giorgos Bartzokas as he is an athletic "five", a very good defender (also in defense with changes), a rim protector and an excellent finisher above the rim. However, he is not the only one who is of concern to Olympiacos as the Greek Champions are still "scanning" other center cases.

Larentzakis to stay at Olympiacos for three years

The case of Giannoulis Larentzakis and Olympiacos seems to be concluded with both sides giving verbal agreement for the next three years according to the information.

Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos personally took charge of the situation and came back with an improved proposal, offering a new contract of 500 thousand per year to the international forward, which will be signed in the coming days.

The first contact between the two sides, as you read in Gazzetta, showed that there was a distance in the financial aspect, however, it seems that the issue has been resolved with the team and the player wishing to continue their common path together.

The 32-year-old played 17 games in the EuroLeague this season, averaging 2.6 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists, having naturally contributed a lot to Olympiacos throughout his five years with the team.

Ένας γνώριμος των παρκέ της Euroleague έχει μπει στο μπλοκάκι του Γιώργου Μπαρτζώκα όσον αφορά τον παίκτη που θα πλαισιώσει τον Σέρβο σέντερ στην «ερυθρόλευκη» ρακέτα.

Ο λόγος για τον Ντόντα Χολ, ο οποίος ναι μεν δεσμεύεται με συμβόλαιο με την Μπασκόνια ωστόσο είναι πολύ ανοικτό το ενδεχόμενο να αποχωρήσει από την ομάδα της Βιτόρια.

Ο Αμερικανός σέντερ απασχολεί τους «ερυθρόλευκους» οι οποίοι ωστόσο θα πρέπει να μπουν σε διαπραγματεύσεις με την Μπασκόνια προκειμένου να τον αποκτήσουν.

Δεν υπάρχει συγκεκριμένο buy-out στο συμβόλαιό του, όπερ και σημαίνει ότι ο Ολυμπιακός πρέπει να καθίσει στο ίδιο τραπέζι με τον -πάντα σκληρό διαπραγματευτή- Κερεχέτα.

Να σημειωθεί ότι ο παίκτης είχε «κεντρίσει» το «ερυθρόλευκο» ενδιαφέρον και το καλοκαίρι του 2022 ωστόσο είχε επιλέξει να ανανεώσει στη Μονακό με υψηλό συμβόλαιο.

Ο Ντόντα Χολ μετράει 148 ματς στην Euroleague με τις φανέλες των Μονακό και Μπασκόνια, έχοντας κατά μέσο όρο 7.3 πόντους και 4.9 ριμπάουντ, σουτάροντας με 74% στα δίποντα και 69% στις βολές ανά 17:58 λεπτά συμμετοχής.

Πρόκειται για παίκτη ο οποίος ταιριάζει στα «θέλω» του Γιώργου Μπαρτζώκα καθώς πρόκειται για αθλητικό «πεντάρι», πολύ καλό αμυντικό (και στην άμυνα με αλλαγές), rim protector και εξαιρετικό finisher πάνω από τη στεφάνη. Παρόλα αυτά δεν είναι και ο μοναδικός που απασχολεί τον Ολυμπιακό καθώς οι Πρωταθλητές Ελλάδας εξακολουθούν να «σκανάρουν» και άλλες περιπτώσεις σέντερ.

Μένει στον Ολυμπιακό για τρία χρόνια ο Λαρεντζάκης

Η υπόθεση του Γιαννούλη Λαρεντζάκη και του Ολυμπιακού φαίνεται να ολοκληρώνεται με τις δύο πλευρές να δίνουν συμφωνούν προφορικά για τα επόμενα τρία χρόνια σύμφωνα με τις πληροφορίες.

Ο Παναγιώτης και ο Γιώργος Αγγελόπουλος ανέλαβαν προσωπικά την κατάσταση και επανήλθαν με βελτιωμένη πρόταση προσφέροντας νέο συμβόλαιο ύψους 500 χιλιάδων το έτος στον διεθνή φόργουορντ, το οποίο θα υπογραφεί τις επόμενες μέρες.

Η πρώτη επαφή των δύο πλευρών, όπως διαβάσατε στο Gazzetta, έδειξε πως υπήρχε απόσταση στο οικονομικό σκέλος, ωστόσο φαίνεται να λύθηκε το ζήτημα με την ομάδα και τον παίκτη να επιθυμούν να συνεχίσουν μαζί την κοινή τους πορεία.

Ο 32χρονος μέτρησε τη φετινή χρονιά 17 παιχνίδια στην EuroLeague, με 2.6 πόντους, 1.4 ριμπάουντ και 1.2 ασίστ, έχοντας προσφέρει φυσικά πολλά στον Ολυμπιακό, όλη την πενταετία που βρίσκεται στην ομάδα.
