But as you know, since I got involved with the Local Government, I am no longer in the team. And even if I wanted to put some money in at the moment, I cannot. It is not allowed by law.

In the past, there have been attempts by the administration to find an investor, and even now, until the last minute, people are trying to find someone who wants to take over the team. But no one was found. The main problem is the infrastructure and specifically the stadium. There is a problem.

Unfortunately, I have not been in the team for a long time, regardless of whether I was trying to help in a friendly way. Essentially and formally, I am not and cannot have any relationship with the team because there is an incompatibility. I wish someone would be found, even at the last minute. Otherwise, the team will pass into the hands of the Amateur and will start its journey again from the Third National League...»

Για τη Λαμία μίλησε ο Πανουργιάς Παπαϊωάννου στο Lamia Report και τόνισε πως αν δεν βρεθεί κάποιος επενδυτής, η ομάδα θα αγωνίζεται στη Γ' Εθνική.

Ο Πανουργιάς Παπαϊωάννου μίλησε στο Lamia Report και σχολίασε την κατάσταση που βρίσκεται η Λαμία αυτή τη στιγμή. Ο πρώην ιδιοκτήτης της ομάδας, ανέφερε πως ακόμα ελπίζουν να βρεθεί κάποιος επενδυτής, αλλιώς ο σύλλογος θα πάει στα χέρια του Ερασιτέχνη και στη Γ' Εθνική.

«Όλα αυτά τα χρόνια δεν έχω δώσει μόνο εκατομμύρια, αλλά και την ψυχή μου για την ομάδα μας, κάνοντας πολλές προσωπικές θυσίες, ακόμα και σε βάρος της οικογένειάς μου.

Όμως όπως γνωρίζετε από τότε που ασχολήθηκα με την Αυτοδιοίκηση δεν είμαι πια στην ομάδα. Και να θέλω αυτή τη στιγμή να βάλω κάποια χρήματα δεν μπορώ. Δεν επιτρέπεται από το νόμο.

Το προηγούμενο διάστημα έγιναν προσπάθειες από την διοίκηση να βρεθεί επενδυτής, ακόμα και τώρα μέχρι την τελευταία στιγμή προσπαθούν οι άνθρωποι να βρουν κάποιον που να θέλει να αναλάβει την ομάδα. Όμως δεν βρέθηκε. Το βασικό πρόβλημα είναι οι υποδομές και συγκεκριμένα το γήπεδο. Υπάρχει πρόβλημα.

Δυστυχώς δεν είμαι στην ομάδα εδώ και καιρό, άσχετα αν φιλικά προσπαθούσα να βοηθήσω. Ουσιαστικά και τυπικά δεν είμαι και δεν μπορώ να έχω σχέση με την ομάδα γιατί υπάρχει ασυμβίβαστο. Μακάρι να βρεθεί κάποιος έστω και την τελευταία στιγμή. Διαφορετικά η ομάδα θα περάσει στα χέρια του Ερασιτέχνη και θα ξεκινήσει πάλι την πορεία της από την Γ' Εθνική...»
