Aris played with a player more, but it couldn't, AEK was equally helpless and without psychology, the 0-0 definitely put them out of the title race.

The last turn of the regular season of the Stoiximan Super League found Aris and AEK in a derby, at Kleanthis Vikelidis. The home team was looking for a win and a positive performance to warm up their fans in view of the playoffs at 5-8, while the guests were looking for an important three points, in their attempt to catch up with the leading Olympiacos.

The two teams entered the first 20 minutes a bit nervously, with Koitas threatening Cuesta from the left side in the 15th minute, but the ball went directly out. Darinda responded with a header backwards, but Brignoli was in his place and blocked.

The highlight for AEK came in the 22nd minute. Eliasson came face to face with Cuesta, he missed, the Aris goalkeeper stopped him.

Ten minutes later, Enosias again visited the Spanish goalkeeper's goal. Eliasson's cross, Lamela's header, the ball took a strange path, Cuesta took it out for a corner.

Aris tried to attack on the counterattacks, with a dangerous transition, but the final passes were not what Moron and Saverio would have liked and the 0-0 remained until the end of the half, with both teams leaving open accounts for the replay.

In the second half, the scene was the same. AEK in possession and control of the match and Aris defending well with tendencies for quick transition. In such a transition, in the 47th minute Spikic caught a shot from the corner of Brignoli's area, but the ball went far out.

In the 57th minute, Laurent Moron made the most of the game on Mitoglou, who then made an unscrupulous move and cut the Spaniard, resulting in Zibert showing him a straight red card. After consultations and even with the help of VAR, the German re-viewed the situation and insisted on his initial decision.

AEK fought with massive changes to correct the imbalances, but Aris seemed to dominate as the minutes passed.

In the 84th minute, after a cross from Moron, Fabiano did not have time to get in the ball's path at the last moment, with Brignoli blocking.

The game ended 0-0 with the home team feeling bitter, as they could have taken more from their opponent.

The final 0-0 also leaves Enositas disappointed, who were looking for three points to take advantage of the struggles of the others in the championship hunt.

Ο Άρης έπαιζε με παίκτη παραπάνω, αλλά δε μπορούσε, η ΑΕΚ ήταν εξίσου ανήμπορη και χωρίς ψυχολογία, το 0-0 την έβγαλε οριστικά εκτός τίτλου.

Η τελευταία στροφή της regular season της Stoiximan Super League βρήκε Άρη και ΑΕΚ σε ντέρμπι, στο Κλεάνθης Βικελίδης. Οι μεν γηπεδούχοι έψαχναν νίκη και θετική εμφάνιση για να ζεστάνουν τον κόσμο τους ενόψει playoffs στο 5-8, οι δε φιλοξενούμενοι σημαντικό τρίποντο, στην προσπάθεια τους να προφτάσουν τον προπορευόμενο Ολυμπιακό. 

Οι δύο ομάδες μπήκαν κάπως νευρικά στο πρώτο 20λεπτο, με τον Κοϊτά να απειλεί από την αριστερή πλευρά τον Κουέστα στο δεκάλεπτο, η μπάλα όμως πέρασε απευθείας άουτ. Απάντηση από Νταρίντα, με κεφαλιά προς τα πίσω, όμως ο Μπρινιόλι ήταν στη θέση του και μπλόκαρε. 

Η κορυφαία στιγμή για την ΑΕΚ ήρθε στο 22ο λεπτό. Ο Ελίασον βγήκε φάτσα με τον Κουέστα, πλάσαρε, ο γκολκίπερ του Άρη τον σταματά. 

Δέκα λεπτά αργότερα, νέα επίσκεψη της Ένωσης στα καρέ του Ισπανού κίπερ. Σέντρα Ελίασον, κεφαλιά Λαμέλα, η μπάλα πήρε περιεργη πορεία, ο Κουέστα έβγαλε σε κόρνερ. 

Ο Άρης προσπάθησε να χτυπήσει στις αντεπιθέσεις, με φαρμακερό τρανζίσιον, όμως οι τελικές πάσες δεν ήταν αυτές που θα ήθελε ο Μορόν και ο Σαβέριο και το 0-0 έμεινε ως το φινάλε του ημιχρόνου, με τις δύο ομάδες να αφήνουν ανοιχτούς λογαριασμούς για την επανάληψη. 

Στο δεύτερο μέρος το σκηνικό ίδιο. Η ΑΕΚ την κατοχή και τον έλεγχο του αγώνα και ο Άρης καλά αμυνόμενος με τάσεις για γρήγορο τρανζίσιον. Σε ένα τέτοιο τρανζίσιον, στο 47ο λεπτό ο Σπίκιτς έπιασε σουτ από την γωνία της περιοχής του Μπρινιόλι, όμως η μπάλα πέρασε αρκετά άουτ. 

Στο 57ο λεπτό ο Λορέν Μορόν κάνει τοάδειασμα της αγωνιστικής στον Μήτογλου, ο οποίος στη συνέχεια κάνει μια αψυχολόγητη ενέργεια και κλαδεύει τον Ισπανό, με αποτέλεσμα ο Ζίμπερτ να του δείξει απευθείας κόκκινη κάρτα. Έπειτα από διαβουλεύσεις μάλιστα και με την βοήθεια του VAR ο Γερμανός ξαναείδε την φάση και επέμεινε στην αρχική του απόφαση. 

Η ΑΕΚ πάλεψε με μαζικές αλλαγές να διορθώσει τις ανισορροπίες, όμως ο Άρης έδειχνε να κυριαρχεί όσο περνούσαν τα λεπτά. 

Στο 84, μετά από σέντρα του Μορόν ο Φαμπιάνο δεν πρόλαβε να μπει τελευταία στιγμή στην πορεία της μπάλας, με τον Μπρινιόλι να μπλοκάρει. 

Το παιχνίδι έσβησε στο 0-0 με τους γηπεδούχους να έχουν πικρη γεύση, καθώς ίσως μπορούσαν να πάρουν παραπάνω πράγματα από τον αντίπαλο. 

Το τελικό 0-0 αφήνει απογοητευμένη και την Ένωση, που έψαχνε τρίποντο, για να εκμεταλλευτεί τις γκέλες  των υπολοίπων στο κυνήγι του πρωταθλήματος.
