F1 - Leclerc and Vasseur celebrate Ferrari victory with a dive (vid)
It has become a tradition in Monaco for the winner of the Grand Prix to... get wet in the waters of the Principality.
Scuderia Ferrari's 245th victory in Formula 1 was celebrated as if it were the first. Especially for Charles Leclerc it was more than just a victory. The Monegasque broke the "curse" in the Grand Prix of his homeland, as until Sunday he had not managed to prevail in the Principality.
Leclerc admitted he was worried in the final 15 laps that something would happen again that would deprive him of victory. Relieved and ecstatic, he celebrated with the head of Scuderia Ferrari by diving into the waters of Monaco. He actually pushed Fred Wasser and then followed him.

Έχει γίνει παράδοση στο Μονακό ο νικητής του Grand Prix να... βρέχεται στα νερά του Πριγκιπάτου.
Η 245η νίκη της Scuderia Ferrari στη Formula 1 πανηγυρίστηκε σαν να ήταν η πρώτη. Ειδικά για τον Σαρλ Λεκλέρ ήταν κάτι παραπάνω από μία νίκη. Ο Μονεγάσκος έσπασε την «κατάρα» στο Grand Prix της πατρίδας του, καθώς μέχρι την Κυριακή δεν είχε καταφέρει να επικρατήσει στο Πριγκιπάτο.
Ο Λεκλέρ παραδέχτηκε ότι ανησυχούσε στους τελευταίους 15 γύρους μην συμβεί πάλι κάτι που θα του στερούσε τη νίκη. Ανακουφισμένος και εκστασιασμένος, πανηγύρισε με τον επικεφαλής της Scuderia Ferrari, βουτώντας στα νερά του Μονακό. Μάλιστα έσπρωξε τον Φρεντ Βασέρ και στη συνέχεια τον ακολούθησε.
