The Sporting Director of the ABA League, Milija Voginovic, considers the presence of Red Star in the EuroLeague in the 2024/25 season almost certain, while he is also optimistic about the participation of Partizan.

The Athletic Director of the ABA League, Milija Vojnovic, was in Berlin for the Final Four of the EuroLeague and after the discussions he had with high-ranking officials of the competition, he said he was optimistic about the presence of the two Serbian teams in the top European competition and the 2024 season/ 25.

"I was in Berlin. I had meetings with people from the EuroLeague. Some information was not conveyed sufficiently. It is certain that the EuroLeague will be played in Belgrade next season as well.

I am sure that this position belongs to Red Star based on winning the ABA League. We are not satisfied with just that. We used to have three teams. Now there is some information that we question, but I am convinced that everything will be as it should be, because Belgrade showed what kind of basketball city it is. Ask Maccabi and all the EuroLeague leaders.

What Partizan did in the previous seasons, mainly with the arrival of Obradovic, with the season tickets.. It was a step away from the Final Four last year. I think Partizan is much closer compared to the other competitors (eg Alba Berlin, Valencia and Virtus Bologna). When the Russian teams come back as well, that will be a question for the EuroLeague people.

The ABA League champion is safe. At the moment, Red Star is definitely at the top and they are safe because they are the champions of the ABA League," he elaborated.

Let's remember that at the beginning of July, it will be announced which team - one of Alba Berlin, Valencia, Virtus Bologna, Partizan and Red Star - will be left out to participate in the EuroLeague, Paris, which won the EuroCup this year.

Ο Αθλητικός Διευθυντής της ABA League, Μιλίγια Βογίνοβιτς, θεωρεί σχεδόν σίγουρη την παρουσία του Ερυθρού Αστέρα στην EuroLeague τη σεζόν 2024/25, ενώ είναι αισιόδοξος και για τη συμμετοχή της Παρτίζαν.

Ο Αθλητικός Διευθυντής της ABA League, Μιλίγια Βογίνοβιτς, βρέθηκε στο Βερολίνο για το Final Four της EuroLeague και μετά από τις συζητήσεις που είχε με υψηλά ιστάμενους της διοργάνωσης, δήλωσε αισιόδοξος για την παρουσία των δύο σερβικών ομάδων στην κορυφαία ευρωπαϊκή διοργάνωση και τη σεζόν 2024/25.

"Ήμουν στο Βερολίνο. Είχα συναντήσεις με ανθρώπους από την EuroLeague. Ορισμένες πληροφορίες δεν μεταφέρθηκαν επαρκώς. Το σίγουρο είναι ότι η EuroLeague θα παίζεται στο Βελιγράδι και την επόμενη σεζόν.

Είμαι σίγουρος ότι αυτή η θέση ανήκει στον Ερυθρό Αστέρα με βάση την κατάκτηση της ABA League. Δεν είμαστε ικανοποιημένοι μόνο με αυτό. Παλιά είχαμε τρεις ομάδες. Τώρα υπάρχουν κάποιες πληροφορίες που αμφισβητούμε, αλλά είμαι πεπεισμένος ότι όλα θα είναι όπως πρέπει, γιατί το Βελιγράδι έδειξε τι είδους μπασκετική πόλη είναι. Ρωτήστε τη Μακάμπι και όλους τους ηγέτες της EuroLeague.

Αυτό που έκανε η Παρτίζαν τις προηγούμενες σεζόν, κυρίως με τον ερχομό του Ομπράντοβιτς, με τα εισιτήρια διαρκείας.. Ήταν ένα βήμα μακριά από την Final Four πέρσι. Νομίζω ότι η Παρτιζάν είναι πολύ πιο κοντά σε σύγκριση με τους άλλους ανταγωνιστές (σσ. την Άλμπα Βερολίνου, τη Βαλένθια και τη Βίρτους Μπολόνια). Όταν θα επιστρέψουν και οι ρωσικές ομάδες, αυτό θα είναι ένα ερώτημα για τους ανθρώπους της EuroLeague.

Να θυμίσουμε πως στις αρχές Ιουλίου θα ανακοινωθεί ποια ομάδα -μία από τις Άλμπα Βερολίνου, Βαλένθια, Βίρτους Μπολόνια, Παρτίζαν και Ερυθρό Αστέρα- θα μείνει εκτός για να συμμετάσχει στην EuroLeague η Παρί, που κατέκτησε φέτος το EuroCup.
