Cyprus national team: Friendly with Latvia on March 21

The Cyprus Football Association has announced a friendly with Latvia on March 21, 2024.

A new friendly match against Latvia was announced earlier today by the Cyprus Football Federation.

The game will be played in Cyprus on March 21, 2024, while the venue and time of the match will be announced in the near future.

This will be the second (first ever) friendly in March, as on the 25th of the same month, another game will be played, again at home, against Serbia.

These two friendly matches have been scheduled, following the recent development with UEFA's decision based on which Cyprus will not compete in a play-off to stay in the 3rd Division of the Nations League.

Η Κυπριακή Ποδοσφαιρική Ομοσπονδία ανακοίνωσε φιλικό με τη Λετονία στις 21 Μαρτίου 2024.

Μια νέα φιλική αναμέτρηση, με αντίπαλο τη Λετονία, ανακοίνωσε νωρίτερα σήμερα η Κυπριακή Ποδοσφαιρική Ομοσπονδία.

Το παιχνίδι θα διεξαχθεί στην Κύπρο στις 21 Μαρτίου του 2024, ενώ η έδρα και η ώρα του αγώνα θα ανακοινωθούν το προσεχές διάστημα.

Αυτό θα είναι το δεύτερο (πρώτο χρονικά) φιλικό τον Μάρτιο, καθώς στις 25 του ίδιου μήνα θα διεξαχθεί ακόμη ένα παιχνίδι, και πάλι εντός έδρας, με αντίπαλο τη Σερβία.

Οι δυο αυτοί φιλικοί αγώνες έχουν προγραμματιστεί, μετά την πρόσφατη εξέλιξη με την απόφαση της UEFA βάσει της οποίας η Κύπρος δεν θα αγωνιστεί σε μπαράζ για παραμονή στη Γ' Κατηγορία του Nations League.
