Great Britain's Jarnell Hughes set the 2nd best performance of all time in Europe, finishing in a time of 9.83! His performance is behind only Marcel Jacobs' 9.80 at the Tokyo Olympics. Hughes beat Blake and Coleman who clocked 9.93 and 10.02 respectively.

At the same time, Hughes achieved this year's top performance in the world and broke a historic national record held by Lindford Christie from 1993 with 9.87!
Alecia Hobbs won the women's 100 with 10.98, while Lyles won the men's 200 meters with 19.83 and Steiner won the women's with 22.19.

In the 100 hurdles, Kendra Harrison and Aleisha Johnson ran incredible races of 12.29 and 12.30, but had a favorable +2.8 wind.
On the men's side, Daniel Roberts won the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.01, ahead of Devon Allen who clocked 13.04.
In the 400 free, Sydney McLaughlin again set a personal best with 49.51, while Athing Mu returned with a 1.58.73 in the 800 meters.

Στα 100 εμπόδια, η Κέντρα Χάρισον και η Αλέισα Τζόνσον έκαναν απίθανη κούρσα με 12.29 και 12.30, αλλά είχαν ευνοϊκό αέρα +2.8.
