Prometheus was cooler in the critical moments and took the victory in the derby of the premiere against Peristeri with 81-88. Nikos Rogavopoulos is decisive in the last minutes.

Prometheus entered the new Basket League in the best way, leaving with the double from the headquarters of Peristeri with 81-88, in one of the derbies of the match.

The two teams fought a constant "battle" inside the floor of "Andreas Papandreou", without either of them being able to save a safety difference throughout the game.

However, the guests appeared calmer in the critical minutes and starring Rogavopoulos got the pink card.

The game started with both teams being close to the score (12-9, 5΄), with the first ten minutes finding Peristeri at +5 (25-20).

However, Prometheus increased his pace and running a series of 3-13, took the lead with 28-33 (13΄). The hosts, however, reacted immediately, with the rest until the halftime being perfectly balanced and the first twenty minutes ending in a 45-45 draw.

Kasimiro's team took the reins again in the 25th minute with 51-55, but could not do anything more, with Peristeri equalizing at the end of the season (66-66).

Everything would be judged in the last period, with the hosts taking a temporary, as it turned out, lead at 34 ΄ with 77-72. Prometheus then ran a 10-1 streak and led 78-82, two minutes before the end.

The situation did not change until the end, with the guests keeping their composure from the line of fire and reaching the victory with 88-81.

The first scorer for Prometheus was Ray with 17 points, however Rogavopoulos (15 points) was the man who judged the game with his baskets.

For Peristeri, Miller finished with 17, with Brown and Katsivelis completing 12 points each.

Ο Προμηθέας ήταν πιο ψύχραιμος στις κρίσιμες στιγμές και πήρε τη νίκη στο ντέρμπι της πρεμιέρας απέναντι στο Περιστέρι με 81-88. Καθοριστικός ο Νίκος Ρογκαβόπουλος στα τελευταία λεπτά.

Ο Προμηθέας μπήκε με τον καλύτερο τρόπο στη νέα Basket League, φεύγοντας με το διπλό από την έδρα του Περιστερίου με 81-88, σε ένα από ντέρμπι της αγωνιστικής.

Οι δύο ομάδες έδιναν μια συνεχή «μάχη» μέσα στο παρκέ του «Ανδρέας Παπανδρέου», χωρίς καμία να μπορεί να οικονομήσει μια διαφορά ασφαλείας καθ΄ όλη τη διάρκεια του παιχνιδιού.

Ωστόσο, οι φιλοξενούμενοι παρουσιάστηκαν πιο ψύχραιμοι στα κρίσιμα λεπτά και με πρωταγωνιστή τον Ρογκαβόπουλο πήραν το ροζ φύλλο αγώνα.

Το παιχνίδι ξεκίνησε με τις δύο ομάδες να είναι κοντά στο σκορ (12-9, 5΄), με το πρώτο δεκάλεπτο να βρίσκει το Περιστέρι στο +5 (25-20).

Ωστόσο, ο Προμηθέας ανέβασε τον ρυθμό του και τρέχοντας ένα σερί 3-13, πήρε το προβάδισμα με 28-33 (13΄). Οι γηπεδούχοι όμως αντέδρασαν άμεσα, με το υπόλοιπο μέχρι το ημίχρονο να είναι απόλυτα ισορροπημένο και το πρώτο εικοσάλεπτο να κλείνει ισόπαλο 45-45.

Η ομάδα του Κασιμίρο πήρε εκ νέου τα ηνία στο 25΄ με 51-55, αλλά δεν μπόρεσε να κάνει το κάτι παραπάνω, με το Περιστέρι να ισοφαρίζει στο τέλος της περιόδου (66-66).

Όλα θα κρίνονταν στην τελευταία περίοδο, με τους γηπεδούχσυς να παίρνουν ένα πρόσκαιρο, όπως αποδείχθηκε, προβάδισμα στο 34΄ με 77-72. Ο Προμηθέας στη συνέχεια έτρεξε ένα σερί 10-1 και προηγήθηκε με 78-82, δύο λεπτά πριν το τέλος.

Η κατάσταση δεν άλλαξε μέχρι τη λήξη, με τους φιλοξενούμενους να διατηρούν την ψυχραιμία τους από την γραμμή των βολών και να φτάνουν στη νίκη με 88-81.

Πρώτος σκόρερ για τον Προμηθέα ήταν ο Ρέι με 17 πόντους, ωστόσο ο Ρογκαβόπουλος (15 πόντοι) ήταν ο άνθρωπος που έκρινε με τα καλάθια του το παιχνίδι.

Για το Περιστέρι, ο Μίλερ τελείωσε με 17, με τους Μπράουν και Κατσίβελη να συμπληρώνουν από 12 πόντους.
