Ο αγώνας

Με εντυπωσιακή ευστοχία (3/4 δίποντα, 2/2 τρίποντα, 2/2 βολές), η Ρεάλ πήρε νωρίς το προβάδισμα (9-13 στο 5') και το διεύρυνε (13-22 στο 9') με τον Ταβάρες και τον Ερτέλ να κάνουν θραύση. Τα πέντε λάθη πλήγωσαν τους γηπεδούχους που δεν είχαν δημιουργία, βρήκαν όμως τρία σουτ από τον Μπάρον για να μείνουν κοντά (28-33 στο 16') την ώρα που οι Μαδριλένοι έπαιζαν με ισορροπία στην επίθεση, πήγαιναν στην μπάλα στη ρακέτα και είχαν 5/7 τρίποντα έως το 18'. Δεν ξέφυγαν όμως και όταν οι γηπεδούχοι βρήκαν ρυθμό πέρασαν και μπροστά στο ημίχρονο με 69% στο δίποντο και 43% στο τρίποντο.

Το ματς συνεχίστηκε στο ίδιο τέμπο και στο τρίτο δεκάλεπτο, με τους Ερτέλ - Ταβάρες να συνεχίζουν να προβληματίζουν τον Πασκουάλ.
