Ο προπονητής των «κιτρινόμαυρων», Άκης Μάντζιος, επέλεξε και πάλι τους Σάσα-Τζέγκο στο κέντρο, απουσία του τραυματία Ματίγια, ενώ έδωσε φανέλα βασικού στον Μαντσίνι στο δεξί άκρο της επίθεσης, αντί του Σίλβα και απόντος του επίσης τραυματία Ματέο Γκαρσία. Τέλος, βασικός ξανά ο Μάνος (ξεκίνησε στην 11άδα και στα τέσσερα εφετινά παιχνίδια του Άρη κόντρα στον Ολυμπιακό), με τον Μήτρογλου να παραμένει στον πάγκο.
