IOC President Thomas Bach is coming to Athens

International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach will pay a two-day visit to Athens on March 29th and 30th.

This will be Thomas Bach's first trip since his re-election as President of the International Olympic Committee until 2025, thus honoring the country that gave birth to the Olympic Games.

The President of the IOC will inaugurate the digital exhibition with all the modern Olympians in the building of the Hellenic Olympic Committee while he will also attend the event for the opening of the renewed lighting of the Panathinaikos Stadium, in the presence of the President of the Republic Mrs. Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

On Tuesday, March 30, Mr. Thomas Bach will have meetings with the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

During the opening of the digital exhibition at the headquarters of EOE and the renewed lighting of the Panathinaikos Stadium, the health protocols will be strictly observed and the entrance for the protection of the public health will not be allowed.

Διήμερη επίσκεψη θα πραγματοποιήσει ο Πρόεδρος της Διεθνούς Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής Τόμας Μπαχ στην Αθήνα, στις 29 και 30 Μαρτίου.

Αυτό θα είναι το πρώτο ταξίδι του Τόμας Μπαχ μετά την επανεκλογή του στην προεδρία της Διεθνούς Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής έως το 2025, τιμώντας με αυτό τον τρόπο τη χώρα που γέννησε τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες.

Ο Πρόεδρος της ΔΟΕ θα εγκαινιάσει την ψηφιακή έκθεση με όλους τους σύγχρονους Ολυμπιονίκες στο κτήριο της Ελληνικής Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής ενώ θα παραστεί και στην εκδήλωση για τα εγκαίνια του ανανεωμένου φωτισμού του Παναθηναϊκού Σταδίου, παρουσία της Προέδρου της Δημοκρατίας κυρίας Κατερίνας Σακελλαροπούλου.

Την Τρίτη 30 Μαρτίου ο κ. Τόμας Μπαχ θα έχει συναντήσεις με την Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας και τον Πρωθυπουργό Κυριάκο Μητσοτάκη.

Στα εγκαίνια της ψηφιακής έκθεσης στην έδρα της ΕΟΕ και του ανανεωμένου φωτισμού του Παναθηναϊκού Σταδίου θα τηρηθούν αυστηρά τα υγειονομικά πρωτόκολλα και δεν θα επιτραπεί η είσοδος για την προστασία της δημόσιας υγείας.
