The Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis accepted the suggestion of the infectious disease specialists for a universal lockdown for a month in the country. It will be implemented as soon as possible.

We are obliged to support all regions of the country, as there is a burden not only in Thessaloniki and Attica, but also in Ioannina, Serres, Larissa and other regions. "

Regarding the schools, the Minister of Health said that the suggestion of the Commission is to close the Gymnasiums and Lyceums and to keep the Primary schools open.

Ολικό lockdown στη χώρα για ένα μήνα προτείνει η ειδική επιτροπή του ΕΟΔΥ, όπως ανέφερε ο Υπουργός Υγείας, Βασίλης Κικίλιας, μιλώντας σε τηλεοπτικό σταθμό.

Λίγη ώρα μετά την ανακοίνωση του ΕΟΔΥ ότι στη χώρα μας το τελευταίο 24ώρο καταγράφηκαν 2.646 νέα κρούσματα κορωνοϊού, ο Υπουργός Υγείας μίλησε στον τηλεοπτικό σταθμό «ΑΝΤ1» και αποκάλυψε ότι η ειδική επιτροπή προτείνει καθολικό lockdown για ένα μήνα. Μάλιστα, όπως ανέφερε χαρακτηριστικά, η εισήγηση είναι εκτός από τα Λύκεια να κλείσουν και τα Γυμνάσια και να μείνουν ανοιχτά τα Δημοτικά σχολεία.

«Το σημαντικότερο είναι να γλιτώσουμε ανθρώπινες ζωές. Τα επιδημιολογικά δεδομένα επιδεινώνονται στη χώρα, έχουμε να κάνουμε με έναν φονικό ιό. Αυτό αφορά όλες τις χώρες. Το Εθνικό Σύστημα Υγείας της χώρας μας πιέζεται, όπως στην άλλες χώρες και πρέπει να πάρουμε μέτρα. Ο πρωθυπουργός Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης δέχθηκε την εισήγηση των λοιμωξιολόγων για καθολικό lockdown για ένα μήνα στη χώρα. Θα εφαρμοστεί το ταχύτερο δυνατό.

Είμαστε υποχρεωμένοι να στηρίξουμε όλες τις περιοχές της χώρας, καθώς υπάρχει επιβάρυνση όχι μόνο στη Θεσσαλονίκη και την Αττική, αλλά και στα Ιωάννινα, τις Σέρρες, τη Λάρισα και άλλες περιοχές»

Σε ότι αφορά τα σχολεία, ο υπουργός Υγείας είπε ότι η εισήγηση της Επιτροπής είναι να κλείσουν τα Γυμνάσια και τα Λύκεια και να μείνουν ανοιχτά τα Δημοτικά σχολεία.
