Η πρόταση της Μπόκα στον «Καρλίτο» για ανανέωση του συμβολαίου του, είχε πραγματοποιηθεί από τον Ιούνιο, ωστόσο η επιθυμία του Τέβες να μπει ρήτρα καθυστέρησε την συμφωνία. Τελικά, οι δύο πλευρές τα βρήκαν σε όλα και θα πορευτούν μαζί και την επόμενη σεζόν.
