Manchester City legend Glyn Pardoe "extinguished"(vid)Glyn Pardoe, the youngest footballer to ever play for Manchester City, a 1968 champion and scorer of the 1970 LeagueCup winning goal, passed away at the age of 73.
Pardo found himself in the "citizens" and in the 14 years that his football career lasted, from 1962 to 1976.
When he made his debut in the men's section of the club, he was only 15 years and 314 days old, so history is still the youngest that has managed to make his debut in the first team!
In 1968 he was a member of the team that won the last championship before 2012, while in 1970 he was the one who scored the winning goal in the LeagueCup final against West Brom in the old "Wembley", writing the final 2-1 in overtime. (102 ').

Την τελευταία του πνοή σε ηλικία 73 ετών άφησε ο Γκλιν Πάρντο, ο νεαρότερος ποδοσφαιριστής που έπαιξε ποτέ στη Μάντσεστερ Σίτι, πρωταθλητής του 1968 και σκόρερ του νικητήριου γκολ του LeagueCup το 1970.
Ο Πάρντο βρέθηκε στους «πολίτες» και στα 14 χρόνια που διήρκησε η καριέρα του στο ποδόσφαιρο, από το 1962 έως και το 1976.
Όταν έκανε το ντεμπούτο του στο ανδρικό τμήμα του συλλόγου, ήταν μόλις 15 ετών και 314 ημερών κι έτσι ιστορία και μέχρι σήμερα είναι ο νεαρότερος που έχει καταφέρει να κάνει ντεμπούτο στην πρώτη ομάδα!
Το 1968 ήταν στέλεχος του συνόλου που κατέκτησε το τελευταίο πρωτάθλημα πριν από αυτό του 2012, ενώ, το 1970 ήταν εκείνος που πέτυχε το νικητήριο γκολ στον τελικό του LeagueCup απέναντι στην Γουέστ Μπρομ στο παλιό «Γουέμπλεϊ», γράφοντας το τελικό 2-1 στην παράταση (102').
