The former "spurs" coach may have coached several big stars during his tenure at Tottenham, such as Harry Kane, Sean Hyung-Min, Deli Ali and others, but none of them were on the Top-3 of his list, with Premier League top players.
The experienced coach chose Kevin De Bruyne as the best footballer of the tournament, Sergio Aguero, chose him as the second best while in third place put Bobby Firmino of Liverpool.
Following his interview with Sky Sports, Pochettino expressed his desire to stay in England and return to the technical leadership of a team soon.

Ο άλλοτε τεχνικός των «σπιρουνιών» μπορεί κατά τη θητεία του στην Τότεναμ, να προπόνησε αρκετά μεγάλα αστέρια, όπως τους Χάρι Κέιν, Σον Χιουνγκ-Μιν, Ντέλι Αλι και άλλους ωστόσο κανένας τους δεν βρέθηκε στο Top-3 της λίστας του, με τους κορυφαίους παίκτες της Premier League.
Ο έμπειρος κόουτς, επέλεξε τον Κέβιν Ντε Μπρόινε ως τον καλύτερο ποδοσφαιριστή της διοργάνωσης, τον Σέρχιο Αγουέρο, τον επέλεξε ως τον δεύτερο κορυφαίο ενώ στην τρίτη θέση έβαλε τον Μπόμπι Φιρμίνο της Λίβερπουλ.
Στη συνέχεια της συνέντευξης του στο «Sky Sports» ο Ποτσετίνο εξέφρασε την επιθυμία του να παραμείνει στην Αγγλία και να επιστρέψει στη τεχνική ηγεσία κάποιας ομάδας, σύντομα.
