The moment arose at 3-1, 30-15, when the French tennis player lost his balance after a short rally. Nevertheless, he reacted with incredible instinct, hitting the ball off the ground with power and precision. The crowd stood up, while both players smiled at the unlikely development.

Alice completed his performance with a 2-0 set victory (6-1, 7-5), securing a place in the semifinals, but this particular point was the one that stole the show.

Στο Swiss Open της Γκστάαντ σημειώθηκε ίσως ο πιο εντυπωσιακός πόντος της χρονιάς. Ο Κουεντίν Αλίς, ενώ είχε γλιστρήσει και βρισκόταν πεσμένος στο χώμα, κατάφερε να επιστρέψει την μπάλα με ένα απίθανο forehand, αιφνιδιάζοντας τον Γκουστάβο Χάιντε και κερδίζοντας τον πόντο μέσα σε αποθέωση.

Η φάση προέκυψε στο 3-1, 30-15, όταν ο Γάλλος τενίστας έχασε την ισορροπία του μετά από σύντομο ράλι. Παρ' όλα αυτά, αντέδρασε με απίστευτο ένστικτο, χτυπώντας την μπάλα από το έδαφος με δύναμη και ακρίβεια. Το κοινό σηκώθηκε όρθιο, ενώ και οι δύο παίκτες χαμογέλασαν με την απίθανη εξέλιξη.
