Σε ένα παιχνίδι που δεν διεκδικεί δάφνες ποιότητας, οι γηπεδούχοι ήταν τραγικοί για τρία δεκάλεπτα με τους φιλοξενούμενους να παίρνουν τη σκυτάλη στο τέταρτο και χάνουν ένα παιχνίδι που έμοιαζε δικό τους.

Το τέταρτο δεκάλεπτο ξεκίνησε με αφετηρία το 36-51, όμως οι γηπεδούχοι κατάφεραν να ισοφαρίσουν με επιμέρους 18-3 (54-54) αφού σε εννέα λεπτά οι παίκτες του Λάσο είχαν σκοράρει μόνο με τρεις βολές.

Με το πρώτο τους καλάθι στην τέταρτη περίοδο να έρχεται στο τελευταίο λεπτό οι φιλοξενούμενοι έφτασαν σε απόσταση ασφαλείας τεσσάρων πόντων (54-58) με 25″ στο ρολόι και έδειχναν να αντέχουν στο φινάλε.

Οι γηπεδούχοι όμως είχαν άλλη άποψη, βρήκαν τρίποντο στα 14″ και γκολ-φάουλ του Χόρτον-Τάκερ 5.6″ δευτερόλεπτα πριν το φινάλε και “έκλεψαν” το παιχνίδι στο νήμα.

Εκτός από την ήττα που έχασε μέσα από τα χέρια της, η Εφές ανησυχεί και για τον Βενσάν Πουαριέ ο οποίος τραυματίστηκε δίχως να έρθει σε επαφή με αντίπαλο και αποχώρησε υποβασταζόμενος στην τελευταία περίοδο της αναμέτρησης.

Το επόμενο παιχνίδι είναι και πάλι στην έδρα της Φενέρμπαχτσε (3/6) με τη σειρά να ολοκληρώνεται στις τρεις νίκες.
