AEL Novibet - Asteras Tripolis 1-1

Two goals, three posts and excellent pace at the "AEL FC Arena", in a crucial match focusing on the battle for relegation. Arkades took the lead with Bartolos (40') and Thessaloi equalized with a well-aimed penalty by Sagal (55').

AEL entered the game with great energy and enthusiasm and with the...good evening limited Asteras to a passive role.

Just in the 3rd minute Sagal committed a foul with Hadjiemmanouil clearing it with the opposite hand and the ball hitting the post. In the 10th minute Sagal's cross found Triantafyllopoulos, took a strange trajectory and went for a corner.

The Thessalian team continued to attack in waves and look for the goal. In the 15th minute, Olafsson hit the far post and the ball went out.

Tsakalidis “dribbled” the VAR (for a penalty)

In the 25th minute, the VAR (Fotias) ruled that there was a penalty in favor of Arkadis and called on referee Tsakalidis to check Batuminsikas’ hand inside the area. However, the referee maintained his initial decision, considering that the offensive foul by Oko and then the hand of the AEL player had preceded it.

Great opportunity for the home team in the 34th minute. In the stoppage time phase after a corner, the ball hit Sourlis’ knee from contact and went out. In the 36th minute, Atanasov's shot was cleared to the left corner by Hadjiemmanuil.

Bartolo scored (0-1)

In his first phase of the game, Asteras took the lead in the 40th minute. Bartolo scored with a direct free kick and made it 0-1.

The visitors... touched the second goal in the 45th + 2nd minute, when after a header by Almyras, Anagnostopoulos cleared with his fingertips and the ball hit the post.

Penalty and 1-1

In the 54th minute, the referee whistled for a penalty for Alagbe's marking of Sourlis. Sagal took the shot, found the target and equalized (1-1).

Mason hits the post

In the 59th minute, AEL…flirted with the second goal when Mason hit the crossbar with a diagonal shot. A good moment for Asteras in the 66th minute with a pass from Almyras that was cleared for a corner by Anagnostopoulos.

In the remaining minutes, Thessalians had the initiative, but were not particularly threatening to the visitors' goal.

The final 1-1 does not satisfy AEL given that it was a must-win match at home, with the "Vyssini" remaining at +5 from the relegation zone and the penultimate Asteras Tripolis who fought it out and stayed standing in Larissa.

Referee Tsakalidis (Chalkidiki) showed a yellow card to Iliadis, Peres, Mourgos, Bartolo, Sipcic.

Δύο γκολ, τρία δοκάρια και εξαιρετικός ρυθμός στο «AEL FC Arena», σε κομβική αναμέτρηση με επίκεντρο τη μάχη της παραμονής. Οι Αρκάδες προηγήθηκαν με τον Μπαρτόλο (40΄) και οι Θεσσαλοί ισοφάρισαν με εύστοχο πέναλτι του Σαγάλ (55΄).

Η ΑΕΛ μπήκε με μεγάλη ενέργεια και διάθεση στο παιχνίδι και με το…καλησπέρα περιόρισε τον Αστέρα σε παθητικό ρόλο.

Μόλις στο 3΄ο Σαγάλ εκτέλεσε φάουλ με τον Χατζηεμμανουήλ να διώχνει με το αντίθετο χέρι και την μπάλα να βρίσκει το δοκάρι. Στο 10΄σέντρα του Σαγάλ η μπάλα βρήκε στον Τριανταφυλλόπουλο πήρε περίεργη τροχιά και έφυγε κόρνερ.

Η θεσσαλική ομάδα συνέχισε να πραγματοποιεί επιθέσεις κατά κύματα και να ψάχνει το γκολ.  Στο 15΄εκτέλεση του Όλαφσον στο δεύτερο δοκάρι η μπάλα άουτ.

«Ντρίμπλαρε» το VAR (για πέναλτι) oΤσακαλίδης

Στο 25΄το VAR (Φωτιάς) έκρινε πως υπάρχει πέναλτι υπέρ των Αρκάδων και κάλεσε τον ρέφερι Τσακαλίδη να τσεκάρει χέρι του Μπατουμπινσικά μέσα στην περιοχή. Ωστόσο ο διαιτητής κράτησε την αρχική του απόφαση, θεωρώντας πως προηγήθηκε το επιθετικό φάουλ του Όκο και έπειτα το χέρι του παίκτη της ΑΕΛ.

Μεγάλη ευκαιρία για τους γηπεδούχους στο 34΄. Σε φάση διαρκείας έπειτα από κόρνερ, η μπάλα χτύπησε εξ επαφής στο γόνατο του Σουρλή κι έφυγε άουτ. Στο 36΄πλασέ του Ατανάσοφ ο Χατζηεμμανουήλ έδιωξε στην αριστερή γωνία.

Γκολ ο Μπαρτόλο (0-1)

Στην πρώτη του φάση στο παιχνίδι ο Αστέρας απέκτησε το προβάδισμα στο 40΄. Ο Μπαρτόλο με απευθείας εκτέλεση φάουλ βρήκε στόχο και έγραψε το 0-1.

Οι φιλοξενούμενοι….άγγιξαν το δεύτερο γκολ στο 45+2΄, όταν μετά από κεφαλιά του Αλμύρα ο Αναγνωστόπουλος έδιωξε με τα ακροδάχτυλα και η μπάλα βρήκε το δοκάρι.

Πέναλτι και 1-1

Στο 54΄ο διαιτητής σφύριξε πέναλτι για μαρκάρισμα του Αλάγκμπε στον Σουρλή. Την εκτέλεση ανέλαβε ο Σαγάλ, βρήκε στόχο και ισοφάρισε (1-1).

Δοκάρι ο Μασόν

Στο 59΄η ΑΕΛ…φλέρταρε με το δεύτερο γκολ όταν ο Μασόν με διαγώνιο σουτ έστειλε την μπάλα στο οριζόντιο δοκάρι. Καλή στιγμή για τον Αστέρα στο 66΄με πλασέ του Αλμύρα που έδιωξε σε κόρνερ ο Αναγνωστόπουλος.

Στα εναπομείναντα λεπτά οι Θεσσαλοί είχαν την πρωτοβουλία, ωστόσο δεν ήταν ιδιαίτερα απειλητικοί για τα καρέ των φιλοξενούμενων. 

Το τελικό 1-1 δεν ικανοποιεί την ΑΕΛ δεδομένου πως επρόκειτο για ματς must - win μέσα στην έδρα της, με τους «Βυσσινί» να παραμένουν στο +5 από τη ζώνη του υποβιβασμού και τον προτελευταίο της βαθμολογίας Αστέρα Τρίπολης που το πάλεψε κι έμεινε όρθιος στη Λάρισα.

O διαιτητής Τσακαλίδης (Χαλκιδικής) έδειξε κίτρινη κάρτα στους Ηλιάδη, Πέρες, Μούργο, Μπαρτόλο, Σίπτσιτς.
