Ami(i)an a Noua. Aris Betsson left with a great double from Rhodes, defeated Kolossos more easily than the final 96-92 shows and continues its fight for entry into the top four.

Now Igor Milisic's team has reached 7 consecutive victories in the GBL, improved its record to 12-7 and got closer to the top four, while the Rhodes team fell to 7-14.

Amin Noua was all Aris in Rhodes. The French power forward achieved a career record with the "yellow and black" jersey, scoring 31 points with 7 rebounds and 3 assists, while having a worthy supporter in Harrell (18pts. 5rpg. 5as.). Very good performance by Jones (17pts. 4rpg.)

On the other hand, Mack was the leading scorer for Aris Lykogiannis' team (21pts. 3rpg.), with Kennedy adding 18 points. Akin's full performance with 13 points and 9 rebounds, Nichols' abundant presence (13pts. 3rps. 8as.)

With the good morning of the game, the two teams found a rhythm in the attack (5-5 in the first minute), with Akin providing solutions to Kolossos (7pts.) for the +3 (13-10) of the home team. Nichols with five consecutive points gave air 6pts. to the Rhodians (18-12 at 4'), Galvanini dominated the racket (20-14 at 4'), with Aris reacting by reducing with Noa (22-19 at 6'). The pace and score were at high levels (26-21 at 7’), with Aris Lykogiannis’ team maintaining its lead (+8, 29-21 at 7’), having brought the game to its own standards. The end of the first quarter found Kolossos at +7 (36-29) in a period when both defenses were absent.

In comparison to the… terrifying first quarter, the pace dropped noticeably with Kolossos maintaining its lead at safe levels (+9, 39-30 at 12’). Lykogiannis’ players only had 3 points. in 4’ of the 2nd period, Aris had tightened its defense and with an 11-0 run took the lead for the first time (39-41 at 16’) after the initial 3-5. The “yellow and black” had balanced the match, through their defense (43-43 at 16’), with the Rhodians taking the reins again and Nichols leading offensively (12p. 48-43 at 18’). The finale of the first half found the home team at +8 (54-46), with Noua from Aris playing alone for the “yellow and black” (21p. 8/10s.).

Aris tightened its defense and brought… a game-changing performance

At the start of the third quarter, Aris went on a 7-0 run to reduce the point difference (54-53), holding Kolossos scoreless for 2’. Harrell gave the “yellow and black” the lead with a three-pointer (56-57 at 23’), with Antetokounmpo dominating the basket for the +4 of the Thessaloniki team (58-62 at 25’). Noah had the game… of his life (28pts. 10/13s.), with Jones giving the biggest difference in the score for the Thessaloniki team (+5, 65-70 at 28’). The finale of the third quarter found Igor Milisic's team at +6 (66-72), with the "yellow and black" having improved their image.

The Colossus played its last card in the match, with Kennedy reducing it to -4 (70-74) at the start of the 4th period, while Kulboka responded with two consecutive three-pointers for +9 (71-80 at 32'). The Milisic players fully controlled the pace, through their defense, with the Colossus reacting by reducing it to -5 (75-80 at 34'). Noa (30pts) and Harrell (18pts) were... all Aris, with the "yellow and black" giving their lead a double-digit difference for the first time (+10, 75-85 at 35'). Kennedy with a three-pointer from the corner reduced it to 80-86 at 37', with Jones sending the difference for the "yellow and black" to +10 (82-92 at 38'). Now the last minutes were more of a procedural nature, with Aris getting a great double in Rhodes remaining in the battle for its entry into the top four.

Με τον Αμίν Νουά να κάνει εξωπραγματική εμφάνιση (31 πόντοι, 8 ριμπάουντ, 3 ασίστ και 2 κλεψίματα) ο Άρης Betsson πέρασε (92-96) από την έδρα του Κολοσσού και έφτασε τις 7 σερί νίκες.

Αμ(ι)άν ένας Νουά. Ο Άρης Betsson έφυγε με ένα σπουδαίο διπλό από την Ρόδο, κέρδισε τον Κολοσσό πιο εύκολα απ' ότι δείχνει το τελικό 96-92 και συνεχίζει την μάχη του για την είσοδο του στην τετράδα.

Πλέον η ομάδα του Ιγκόρ Μίλισιτς έφτασε τις 7 σερί νίκες στην GBL, βελτίωσε το ρεκόρ της στο 12-7 και πλησίασε περισσότερο στην πρώτη τετράδα, την ώρα που οι Ροδίτες έπεσαν στο 7-14. 

Ο Αμίν Νουά ήταν όλος ο Άρης στην Ρόδο. Ο Γάλλος πάουερ-φόργουορντ πραματοποίησε ρεκόρ καριέρας με την φανέλα των «κιτρινόμαυρων» μετρώντας 31 πόντους με 7 ριμπάουντ και 3 ασίστ, έχοντας παράλληλα άξιο συμπαραστάρη τον Χάρελ (18π. 5ρ. 5ασ.). Πολύ καλή παρουσία του Τζόουνς (17π. 4ρ.)

Από την άλλη πλευρά ο Μακ ήταν πρώτος σκόρερ για την ομάδα του Άρη Λυκογιάννη (21π. 3ρ.), με τον Κένεντι να προσθέτει 18 πόντους. Γεμάτη εμφάνιση του Άκιν με 13 πόντους και 9 ριμπάουντ, πληθωρική παρουσία του Νίκολς (13π. 3ρ. 8ασ.)

Οι άμυνες απουσίαζαν, ο Κολοσσός το προβάδισμα δια χειρός Άκιν και Νίκολς

Με το καλημέρα του παιχνιδιού οι δυο ομάδες βρήκαν ρυθμό στην επίθεση (5-5 στο πρώτο λεπτό), με τον Άκιν να δίνει λύσεις στον Κολοσσό (7π.) για το +3 (13-10) των γηπεδούχων. Ο Νίκολς με πέντε σερί πόντους έδωσε αέρα 6π. στους Ροδίτες (18-12 στο 4’), ο Γκαλβανίνι κυριαρχούσε στην ρακέτα (20-14 στο 4’), με τον Άρη να βγάζει αντίδραση μειώνοντας με το Νουά (22-19 στο 6’). Ο ρυθμός και το σκορ ήταν σε υψηλά επίπεδα (26-21 στο 7’), με την ομάδα του Άρη Λυκογιάννη να διατηρεί το προβάδισμα της (+8, 29-21 στο 7’), έχοντας φέρει στα μέτρα της το παιχνίδι. To φινάλε του πρώτου δεκαλέπτου βρήκε τον Κολοσσό στο +7 (36-29) σε μια περίοδο που οι δυο άμυνες απουσίαζαν.

Ο Νουά γύρισε μόνος του το ματς για τον Άρη, διατήρησε το προβάδισμα του ο Κολοσσός

Σε σχέση με το… τρομακτικό πρώτο δεκάλεπτο, ο ρυθμός έπεσε αισθητά με τον Κολοσσό να διατηρεί το προβάδισμα του σε επίπεδα ασφαλείας (+9, 39-30 στο 12’). Οι παίκτες του Λυκογιάννη μετρούσαν μόλις 3π. σε 4’ της 2ης περιόδου, ο Άρης είχε σφίξει την άμυνα του και με σερί 11-0 πήρε για πρώτη φορά από προβάδισμα (39-41 στο 16’) μετά το αρχικό 3-5. Οι «κιτρινόμαυροι» είχαν ισορροπήσει το ματς, μέσω της άμυνας τους (43-43 στο 16’), με τους Ροδίτες να παίρνουν ξανά τα ηνία και τον Νίκολς να ηγείται επιθετικά (12π. 48-43 στο 18’). Το φινάλε του πρώτου μέρους βρήκε τους γηπεδούχους στο +8 (54-46), με το Νουά από πλευράς Άρη να παίζει μόνος του για τους «κιτρινόμαυρους» (21π. 8/10σ.).

Έσφιξε την άμυνα του ο Άρης και έφερε… τούμπα του ματς

Με το καλημέρα του τρίτου δεκαλέπτου ο Άρης έτρεξε σερί 7-0 για να μειώσει την διαφορά στο πόντο (54-53), κρατώντας τον Κολοσσό χωρίς σκορ για 2’. Ο Χάρελ με τρίποντο έδωσε τα ηνία στους «κιτρινόμαυρους» (56-57 στο 23’), με τον Αντετοκούνμπο να κυριαρχεί στο καλάθι για το +4 των Θεσσαλονικιών (58-62 στο 25’). Ο Νουά έκανε το ματς… της ζωής του (28π. 10/13σ.), με τον Τζόουνς να δίνει την μεγαλύτερη διαφορά στο σκορ για τους Θεσσαλονικείς (+5, 65-70 στο 28’). Το φινάλε του τρίτου δεκαλέπτου βρήκε την ομάδα του Ιγκόρ Μίλισιτς στο +6 (66-72), με τους «κιτρινόμαυρους» να έχουν βελτιώσει την εικόνα τους.

Διπλό-χαρακτήρα δια χειρός Νουά για τον Άρη στην Ρόδο

Ο Κολοσσός έπαιξε το τελευταίο του χαρτί στο ματς, με τον Κένεντι να μειώνει στο -4 (70-74) στο ξεκίνημα της 4ης περιόδου, την ώρα που ο Κουλμπόκα απάντησε με δυο σερί τρίποντα για το +9 (71-80 στο 32'). Οι παίκτες του Μίλισιτε ήλεγχαν πλήρως τον ρυθμό, μέσω της άμυνας τους, με τον Κολοσσό να βγάζει αντίδραση μειώνοντας στο -5 (75-80 στο 34'). Νουά (30π.) και Χάρελ (18π.) ήταν... όλος ο Άρης, με τους «κιτρινόμαυρους» να δίνουν για πρώτη φορά διψήφια διαφορά στο προβάδισμα τους (+10, 75-85 στο 35'). Ο Κένεντι με τρίποντο από την γωνία μείωσε σε 80-86 στο 37', με τον Τζόουνς να στέλνει την διαφορά για τους «κιτρινόμαυρους» στο +10 (82-92 στο 38'). Πλέον τα τελευταία λεπτά ήταν περισσότερο διαδικαστικού χαρακτήρα, με τον Άρη να παίρνει ένα σπουδαίο διπλό στην Ρόδο παραμένοντας στην μάχη για την είσοδο του στην τετράδα.
