Scariolo: “Real Madrid has the seventh-largest budget in the EuroLeague!”

Real Madrid has reached its sixth consecutive victory in the EuroLeague, and Sergio Scariolo revealed that the Madrid team has only the seventh-largest budget in the competition.

Από την πλευρά του, ο Σέρτζιο Σκαριόλο επανέλαβε ότι οι πόντοι που δέχεται η ομάδα ποτέ δεν αποτελούν κριτήριο για την αξιολόγηση της αμυντικής απόδοσης και έκανε μια ιδιαίτερη σύγκριση με τους προϋπολογισμούς και τα συμβόλαια των υπόλοιπων κλαμπ της κορυφαίας ευρωπαϊκής διοργάνωσης.

«Έχουμε το έβδομο μεγαλύτερο μπάτζετ στη EuroLeague. Επίσης, κανένας παίκτης μας δεν βρίσκεται ανάμεσα στους πρώτους 15 με τον υψηλότερο καθαρό μισθό, που είναι το σημαντικό. Αυτή είναι η σύγκριση που κάνω για να εξηγήσω ποιο είναι το κριτήριο μου για την αξιολόγηση της άμυνας», ανέφερε χαρακτηριστικά ο Ιταλός κόουτς μετά τη νίκη επί των Μονεγάσκων.

Πλέον, οι Μαδριλένοι έχουν τέσσερις συνεχόμενες αναμετρήσεις εκτός έδρας, αντιμετωπίζοντας διαδοχικά την Παρί (27/1), τον Παναθηναϊκό (3/2), την Dubai Basketball (5/2) και την Παρτίζαν (13/2).
