Arsenal have made official the extension of William Saliba’s contract until 2030 and published a touching video on their official Instagram account, with which they announced it to their fans.
William Saliba has agreed a new five-year contract with Arsenal and will remain a resident of North London until 2030. The 24-year-old stopper may have been in the sights of top European clubs such as Real Madrid, but he had made it clear since last March that he wants to stay with the Londoners and claim titles with their jersey.
Mikel Arteta's team, one day before the match against Olympiacos for the second matchday of the League Phase of the Champions League, also announced the extension of their collaboration with the French full-back with a touching video on their official Instagram account.

Ο Γουίλιαμ Σαλιμπά συμφώνησε για νέο πενταετές συμβόλαιο με την Άρσεναλ και θα παραμείνει κάτοικος τιυ Βόρειου Λονδίνο μέχρι και το 2030. Ο 24χρονος στόπερ μπορεί να βρισκόταν στο στόχαστρο κορυφαίων ευρωπαϊκών συλλόγων όπως η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης, αλλά ο ίδιος είχε ξεκαθαρίσει από τον περασμένο Μάρτιο ότι θέλει να παραμείνει στους Λονδρέζους και να διεκδικήσει τίτλους με τη φανέλα τους.
Η ομάδα του Μικέλ Αρτέτα, μία ήμερα πριν τον αγώνα εναντίον του Ολυμπιακού για τη δεύτερη αγωνιστική της League Phase του Champions League, ανακοίνωσε και την επέκταση της συνεργασίας τους με τον Γάλλο οπισθοφύλακα με ένα συγκινητικό βίντεο στον επίσημο λογαριασμό της στο Instagram.

Στο βίντεο που δημοσιεύθηκε οι Κανονιέρηδες «βγήκαν» στους δρόμους και πήραν συνέντευξη από διάφορους φιλάθους ρωτώντας τους την απόψη τους για τον Σαλιμπά, το τρόπο παιχνιδιού του αλλά και τη προσφορά του στον λονδρέζικο σύλλογο.
