AEL Novibet managed to get the valuable point of the draw (1-1) against Atromitos away from home, playing with ten players from the 23rd minute of the match!

After the first reconnaissance minutes in the game, the first good moment belonged to Atromitos with Palmezano's shot counterattacking and ending up in the arms of Melissa in the 11th minute. Three minutes later, AEL Novibet scored with Hadjistravos, but the goal was disallowed as Toupta was in an offside position at the beginning of the phase. A minute later, the guests threatened again with Sagal's shot being impressively saved by Houtesiotis for a corner. Atromitos... responded to Thessalon's chances with Michorl's long shot in the 19th minute going wide.

Then followed a nightmare five minutes for AEL Novibet. Initially in the 23rd minute the captain of the Thessalian team, Giannis Pasas, saw the direct red card for a hard tackle on Mansour, while in the 28th minute Atromitos opened the scoring in the game, after a penalty that Baku won after a foul by Deligiannidis and a well-taken penalty by Ozegovic for 1-0! The pace dropped in the following minutes with the only chance being scored in the 43rd minute after continuous dribbles by Palmezano in the away team's area and an inaccurate shot high.

AEL Novibet dramatically increased its performance in the second half and despite playing with ten players, they were quite active offensively. In fact, in the 60th minute of the match, they managed to bring the match to an equal level with a beautiful development and assist from Touptas for Perez, with the latter scoring in an exemplary manner for the 1-1! Six minutes later, the shot attempted by Sagal was quite off target for the Thessalians. In the 69th minute, Atromitos came close to scoring after a turn by Baku and a miscued pass by Atanasov, but the ball went out for a corner. A minute later, the Peristeri team had another good moment with Tsandila missing from an advantageous position.

AEL Novibet managed to bring the match to a... somersault in the 72nd minute, but Sagal's goal was disallowed for a foul by the "Maroon" striker on Mansour, and so the 1-1 remained. The home team had a huge chance to take the lead again, but Tsantilas, despite his great effort, failed to put the ball in the net in the 82nd minute. Two minutes later, Atromitos came within a breath of 2-1, but Aitor's solo shot was stopped by Melissa's right post. The home team had dramatically increased their performance and were pushing for the winning goal, with Mutousami catching a powerful shot from outside the area in the 88th minute and Melissa blocking it firmly. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle, and the two teams shared one point each.

Η ΑΕΛ Novibet κατάφερε να πάρει τον πολύτιμο βαθμό της ισοπαλίας (1-1) κόντρα στον Ατρόμητο εκτός έδρας, αγωνιζόμενη με δέκα παίκτες από το 23ο λεπτό του αγώνα!

Μετά τα πρώτα αναγνωριστικά λεπτά στο παιχνίδι, η πρώτη καλή στιγμή ανήκε για τον Ατρόμητο με το σουτ του Παλμεζάνο να κοντράρει και να καταλήγει στην αγκαλιά του Μελίσσα στο 11'. Τρία λεπτά μετά η ΑΕΛ Novibet σκόραρε με τον Χατζηστραβό, αλλά το τέρμα ακυρώθηκε καθώς ο Τούπτα ήταν σε θέση οφσάιντ στην αρχή της φάσης. Ένα λεπτό αργότερα οι φιλοξενούμενοι απείλησαν ξανά με το σουτ του Σαγάλ να αποκρούεται εντυπωσιακά από τον Χουτεσιώτη σε κόρνερ. Ο Ατρόμητος... απάντησε στις ευκαιρίες των Θεσσαλών με το μακρινό σουτ του Μίχορλ στο 19' να φεύγει άουτ.

Στη συνέχεια ακολούθησε ένα εφιαλτικό πεντάλεπτο για την ΑΕΛ Novibet. Αρχικά στο 23' ο αρχηγός της θεσσαλικής ομάδας, Γιάννης Πασάς, είδε την απευθείας κόκκινη κάρτα για σκληρό μαρκάρισμα στον Μανσούρ, ενώ στο 28' ο Ατρόμητος άνοιξε το σκορ στο παιχνίδι, μετά από πέναλτι που κέρδισε ο Μπάκου σε παράβαση του Δεληγιαννίδη και εύστοχη εκτέλεση πέναλτι του Οζέγκοβιτς για το 1-0! Ο ρυθμός έπεσε στα επόμενα λεπτά με την μοναδική ευκαιρία να σημειώνεται στο 43' μετά από συνεχόμενες ντρίμπλες του Παλμεζάνο στην περιοχή των φιλοξενούμενων και άστοχο σουτ ψηλά.

Η ΑΕΛ Novibet ανέβασε κατακόρυφα την απόδοσή της στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο και παρότι αγωνιζόταν με δέκα παίκτες ήταν αρκετά δραστήρια επιθετικά. Μάλιστα, στο 60ο λεπτό του αγώνα κατάφερε να φέρει το ματς στα ίσα με όμορφη ανάπτυξη και ασίστ του Τούπτα για τον Πέρεζ με τον τελευταίο να πλασάρει υποδειγματικά για το 1-1! Έξι λεπτά μετά το σουτ που επιχείρησε ο Σαγάλ ήταν αρκετά άστοχο για τους Θεσσαλούς. Στο 69' ο Ατρόμητος έφτασε κοντά στο γκολ μετά από γύρισμα του Μπάκου και λάθος προβολή του Ατανάσοφ, με την μπάλα να φεύγει όμως κόρνερ. Ένα λεπτό αργότερα οι Περιστεριώτες είχαν νέα καλή στιγμή με τον Τσαντίλα να αστοχεί από πλεονεκτική θέση.

Η ΑΕΛ Novibet κατάφερε να φέρει... τούμπα το ματς στο 72', αλλά το τέρμα του Σαγάλ ακυρώθηκε για φάουλ του επιθετικού των «βυσσινί» πάνω στον Μανσούρ και έτσι το 1-1 παρέμεινε. Οι γηπεδούχοι είχαν τεράστια ευκαιρία να πάρουν ξανά προβάδισμα όμως, ο Τσαντίλας παρά την ωραία ενέργεια του, δεν κατάφερε να στείλει τη μπάλα στα δίχτυα στο 82'. Δυο λεπτά μετά ο Ατρόμητος έφτασε μια... ανάσα από το 2-1, όμως το σόλο του Αϊτόρ σταμάτησε στο δεξί δοκάρι του Μελίσσα. Οι γηπεδούχοι είχαν ανεβάσει κατακόρυφα την απόδοσή τους και πίεζαν για το νικητήριο γκολ, με τον Μουτουσαμί να πιάνει το δυνατό σουτ εκτός περιοχής στο 88' και τον Μελίσσα να μπλοκάρει σταθερά. Μέχρι το τελικό σφύριγμα της λήξης το σκορ δεν άλλαξε και έτσι οι δύο ομάδες μοιράστηκαν από έναν βαθμό.
