A great result in Venice for Aris, who defeated the local team 85-81 for the first round of the EuroCup.

They were not the favorite, but on Tuesday night (30/9) Aris made a great appearance in Venice.

The yellow and black team defeated Neven Spahia's Venezia 85-81, in the match of the first round of the EuroCup of the 2025/26 season, with Bogdan Karajcic watching Bryce Jones in amazing condition (26 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists) and Bryn Forbes effective in execution (18 points with 3/7 three-pointers).

The Thessaloniki team didn’t start the game well, but they stayed close and as time went on, they improved on both sides of the court. They scored 29 points in the second quarter, conceded 16 in the third and were “cold-blooded” in the final.

Ronnie Hael made it 79-82 with a shot in the 39th minute, Bryce Jones had 1/2 for 81-83 in the 15.7th minute and in the last possession the home team wasted two chances before Jones took the lead and scored the final score without an opponent.

Σπουδαίο αποτέλεσμα στη Βενετία για τον Άρη, που νίκησε με 85-81 την τοπική ομάδα για την πρώτη αγωνιστική του EuroCup.

Δεν ήταν το φαβορί, όμως το βράδυ της Τρίτης (30/9) ο Άρης έκανε σπουδαία εμφάνιση στη Βενετία.

Οι κιτρινόμαυροι νίκησαν με 85-81 τη Βενέτσια του Νέβεν Σπάχια, στο ματς της πρώτης αγωνιστικής του EuroCup της σεζόν 2025/26, με τον Μπόγκνταν Καράιτσιτς να βλέπει τον Μπράις Τζόουνς σε εκπληκτική κατάσταση (26 πόντοι, 8 ριμπάουντ, 6 ασίστ) και τον Μπριν Φορμπς αποτελεσματικό στην εκτέλεση (18 πόντοι με 3/7 τρίποντα).

Οι Θεσσαλονικείς δεν μπήκαν καλά στο ματς, όμως έμειναν κοντά και όσο περνούσε η ώρα, τόσο βελτιώνονταν και στις δύο πλευρές του παρκέ. Έβαλαν 29 πόντους στο δεύτερο δεκάλεπτο, δέχθηκαν 16 στο τρίτο και είχαν “κρύο αίμα” στο φινάλε.

Ο Ρόνι Χάελ έγραψε το 79-82 με βολή στο 39′, ο Μπράις Τζόουνς είχε 1/2 για το 81-83 στα 15.7″ και στην τελευταία κατοχή οι γηπεδούχοι σπατάλησαν δύο ευκαιρίες πριν ο Τζόουνς φύγει στον αιφνιδιασμό και γράψει χωρίς αντίπαλο το τελικό σκορ.
