Volos NPS - Athens Kallithea 1-1

"Stuck" in draws, Athens Kallithea dropped another point in the bag in the game (1-1) that opened the curtain of the 6th game against Volos in Panthessaliko and remains without "three points" (five draws - one defeat) in this year's Super League – Debut for Savvas Poursaitidis on the bench of the Thessalian team which was better in the second half and had missed opportunities for a second goal.

Point of reference in the match at Panthessalikos, the debut of Savvas Poursaitidis on the bench of Volos.

From the first minutes of the match, the two teams showed the willingness to play open football and to... flirt with claims to the goal.

Athens Kallithea looked to be a... click more threatening and found their way to the net in the 23rd.

In stoppage time in the home team's goal, the ball reached Gianni who with a nice dribble and an exemplary shot found the goal (0-1).

Thessalians did not manage to react immediately after the goal they conceded, however they equalized shortly before the end of the first half.

Mendieta scores (1-1)

In the 37th minute, Mendieta with a well-weighted volley shot sent the ball...into the left side of the guests' goal and tied the game (1-1), with the Argentinian midfielder scoring his third goal in this year's league race.

With... good evening in the second half, Volos missed a great chance for 2-1, when Altman's shot from a shooting position was saved by Bernabé.

Another (missed) chance for the home team in the 52nd with Koszta making the projection from close range and Bernabé chasing away saves with his feet.

The pace of the match gradually began to drop with Thessalonians having the initiative of the movements and missing two more opportunities for 2-1.

In the 76th minute, Conte's header was blocked by Bernabé, while in the same minute, Koba's shot from an advantageous position was neutralized by the excellent goalkeeper of Athens Kallithea.

Lost four fours

In the 92nd minute, the guests could...steal the victory with Moutinho missing in the four-four with Kovacs and while Valbuena was unmarked next to him.

Based on the overall picture of the game and the missed opportunities in the second half, Volos deserved and showed that it wanted the victory more, however, it did not have the efficiency it should have in the final effort.

On the other side, Athens Kallithea came through unscathed from Panthessalikos with goalkeeper Bernabé as the main protagonist, but remains without a "three point" (five draws - one defeat) after a six-match road in the Super League.

Referee Katikos (Athens) showed a yellow card to Miletic, Manthati, Mendietta.

«Κολλημένη» στις ισοπαλίες η νεοφώτιστη Athens Kallithea, έριξε έναν ακόμα βαθμό στο σακούλι στο παιχνίδι (1-1) που άνοιξε την αυλαία της 6ης αγωνιστικής κόντρα στο Βόλο στο Πανθεσσαλικό και παραμένει χωρίς «τρίποντο» (πέντε ισοπαλίες - μία ήττα) στη φετινή Super League – Ντεμπούτο για τον Σάββα Πουρσαϊτίδη στον πάγκο της θεσσαλικής ομάδας που ήταν καλύτερη στο β΄ημίχρονο κι είχε χαμένες ευκαιρίες για δεύτερο γκολ.

Σημείο αναφοράς στην αναμέτρηση στο Πανθεσσαλικό, το ντεμπούτο του Σάββα Πουρσαϊτίδη στον πάγκο του Βόλου.

Από τα πρώτα λεπτά του ματς οι δύο ομάδες έδειξαν τη διάθεση να παίξουν ανοιχτό ποδόσφαιρο και να…φλερτάρουν με αξιώσεις με το γκολ.

H Athens Kallithea έδειχνε να είναι ένα…κλικ πιο απειλητική και βρήκε το δρόμο προς τα δίχτυα στο 23.

Σε φάση διαρκείας στα καρέ των γηπεδούχων η μπάλα έφτασε στον Τζιάνι ο οποίος με ωραία ντρίμπλα και υποδειγματικό σουτ βρήκε στόχο (0-1).

Οι Θεσσαλοί δεν κατάφεραν να αντιδράσουν άμεσα μετά το γκολ που δέχτηκαν, ωστόσο έφτασαν στην ισοφάριση λίγο πριν από την λήξη του α΄ημιχρόνου.

Γκολάρα ο Μεντιέτα (1-1)

Στο 37΄ο Μεντιέτα με καλοζυγισμένο φαλτσαριστό σουτ έστειλε την μπάλα…συστημένη στην αριστερή πλευρά της εστίας των φιλοξενούμενων κι έφερε το παιχνίδι στα ίσα (1-1), με τον Αργεντινό μεσοεπιθετικό να σημειώνει το τρίτο του γκολ στη φετινή κούρσα του πρωταθλήματος.

Με το…καλησπέρα στο β΄ημίχρονο ο Βόλος έχασε μεγάλη ευκαιρία για το 2-1, όταν σουτ του Άλτμαν από θέση βολής έβγαλε ο Μπερναμπέ.

Νέα (χαμένη) ευκαιρία για τους γηπεδούχους στο 52΄με τον Κόσζτα να κάνει την προβολή από κοντά και τον Μπερναμπέ να διώχνει σωτήρια με τα πόδια.

Ο ρυθμός του αγώνα σταδιακά άρχισε να πέφτει με τους Θεσσαλούς να έχουν την πρωτοβουλία των κινήσεων και να χάνουν άλλες δύο ευκαιρίες για το 2-1.

Στο 76΄ο κεφαλιά του Κόντε έδιωξε ο Μπερναμπέ, ενώ στο ίδιο λεπτό σουτ του Κόμπα από πλεονεκτική θέση εξουδετέρωσε ο εξαιρετικός τερματοφύλακας της Athens Kallithea.

Χαμένο τετ α τετ

Στο 92΄οι φιλοξενούμενοι θα μπορούσαν να...κλέψουν τη νίκη με τον Μουτίνιο να αστοχεί στο τετ α τετ με τον Κόβατς κι ενώ δίπλα του βρισκόταν ξεμαρκάριστος ο Βαλμπουενά.

Βάσει συνολικής εικόνας στο παιχνίδι και χαμένων ευκαιριών στο β΄ημίχρονο, ο Βόλος άξιζε κι έδειξε πως ήθελε περισσότερο τη νίκη, ωστόσο δεν είχε την αποτελεσματικότητα που θα έπρεπε στην τελική προσπάθεια.

Στην αντίπερα όχθη, η Athens Kallithea πέρασε αλώβητη από το Πανθεσσαλικό με μεγάλο πρωταγωνιστή τον τερματοφύλακα Μπερναμπέ, ωστόσο παραμένει χωρίς «τρίποντο» (πέντε ισοπαλίες – μία ήττα) έπειτα από αγωνιστικό δρόμο έξι αγωνιστικών στη Super League.

Ο διαιτητής Κατοίκος (Αθηνών) έδειξε κίτρινη κάρτα στους Μίλετιτς, Μανθάτη, Μεντιέτα.
