According to Fabrizio Romano, the two teams are expected to find them for an amount set at 40 million euros, with the Premier League club offering several additional goal achievement bonuses to last year's French champions.
It should be reminded that Newcastle is trying to include the 22-year-old defender in its roster since last January, while Milan had also expressed intense interest in acquiring him.
Botman has been in Lille since the summer of 2020, when he left Ajax for 8 million euros. Last season he made 32 appearances in all competitions.

Σύμφωνα με τον Φαμπρίτσιο Ρομάνο, οι δύο ομάδες αναμένεται να τα βρουν για ένα ποσό που ορίζεται στα 40 εκατ. ευρώ, με τον σύλλογο της Premier League να προσφέρει και αρκετά πρόσθετα μπόνους επίτευξης στόχων στους περσινούς πρωταθλητές Γαλλίας.
Να θυμίσουμε πως η Νιούκαστλ προσπαθεί να εντάξει στο ρόστερ της τον 22χρονο αμυντικό από τον περασμένο Ιανουάριο, ενώ έντονο ενδιαφέρον για την απόκτησή του είχε εκφράσει και η Μίλαν.
Ο Μπότμαν βρίσκεται στη Λιλ από το καλοκαίρι του 2020, όταν είχε αφήσει τον Άγιαξ για 8 εκατ. ευρώ. Την περασμένη σεζόν πραγματοποίησε 32 εμφανίσεις σε όλες τις διοργανώσεις.
