Steve Carey and Andrew Wiggins scored in bursts, Draymond Green did the dirty work and the Golden State Warriors beat the Utah Jazz (131-119) at home. Rudy Gomber finished with 24 points and 27 rebounds.
After four consecutive defeats, the Golden State Warriors smiled again, at the expense of the team with the best record in the NBA. With Andrew Wiggins (28 points with 12/16 shots) and Steve Carey (32 points with 6/9 three-pointers) standing out aggressively, the home team prevailed over the Utah Jazz (131-119), and came even closer to the West octave. .
Despite the superhuman efforts of Rudy Gomber near the basket (24 points, 27 rebounds, 4 blocks) and the fact that three more players scored 20+ points, Utah could not put ... a brake on the frantic pace of the home team.
The players of Steve Kerr closed the game with 56.2% in shots inside a child and 16/31 three-pointers, a fact that together with 33 assists and 12 steals made the difference. Μετά από τέσσερις σερί ήττες, οι Γκόλντεν Στέιτ Γουόριορς χαμογέλασαν ξανά, και δη σε βάρος της ομάδας με το καλύτερο ρεκόρ στο ΝΒΑ. Με τον Άντριου Γουίγκινς (28 πόντοι με 12/16 σουτ) και τον Στεφ Κάρι (32 πόντοι με 6/9 τρίποντα) να ξεχωρίζουν επιθετικά, οι γηπεδούχοι επιβλήθηκαν των Γιούτα Τζαζ (131-119), και πλησίασαν ακόμη περισσότερο την οκτάδα της Δύσης.
Παρά τις υπεράνθρωπες προσπάθειες του Ρουντί Γκομπέρ κοντά στο καλάθι (24 πόντοι, 27 ριμπάουντ, 4 μπλοκ) και το γεγονός πως ακόμη τρεις παίκτες σημείωσαν 20+ πόντους, η Γιούτα δεν μπόρεσε να βάλει... φρένο στον ξέφρενο ρυθμό των γηπεδούχων.
Οι παίκτες του Στιβ Κερ έκλεισαν το παιχνίδι με 56.2% στα σουτ εντός παιδιάς και 16/31 τρίποντα, γεγονός που μαζί με τις 33 ασίστ και τα 12 κλεψίματα έκανε τη διαφορά. Κι όπως συμβαίνει πολλές φορές, ο Ντρέιμοντ Γκριν ήταν "εκεί" για να προσφέρει τις υπηρεσίες του σε κάθε πτυχή του αγώνα, ολοκληρώνοντας την αναμέτρηση με τριπλ νταμπλ (11 πόντοι, 12 ριμπάουντ, 12 ασίστ).
