Greek Cup: Final! The draw with SL2 teams - The response of infectious disease specialists

Greek Cup: The "present" in Tuesday's draw (5/1) will be given by the teams of Super League 2 after the "green light" given by the committee of infectious diseases.

The draw of the Greek Cup is scheduled to take place on Tuesday (5/1) at the EPO offices in Goudi Park with the participation of the 12 teams of the second national team and the 8 clubs of the Super League, which did not finish in first six of last year's championship.

However, the refusal of the infectious disease specialists to give the "ok" for the start of Super League 2, had caused an issue regarding the participation of the teams in the second ranked institution of Greek football, the Greek Cup.

According to the information, both the Greek Federation and the management of SL 2 received the response of the competent Committee, which allowed the participation of the teams of the second category in the draw of the Cup, without however giving an answer for the cross in this championship.

In particular, the Commission's letter stated:

"The Chairman of the Committee, taking the floor, presented the recommendation of the Committee for the Management of Public Health Emergencies by Infectious Agents, regarding the participation of Super League 2 teams in the conduct of the Greek Cup, which resulted in the upcoming football draw. Greece without excluding the teams of Super League 2.

The members will return within ten days in order to make a presentation on the subject taking into account the latest epidemiological data. Following an interactive discussion, the members of the Committee unanimously approved the above proposal. Thanking the members of the Committee for their presence, the Chairman of the Committee closed the meeting ".

Κύπελλο Ελλάδας: Το «παρών» στην κλήρωση της Τρίτης (5/1) θα δώσουν οι ομάδες της Super League 2 έπειτα από το «πράσινο φως» που άναψε η επιτροπή των λοιμωξιολόγων.

Το μεσημέρι της Τρίτης (5/1) στα γραφεία της ΕΠΟ στο Πάρκο Γουδί έχει προγραμματιστεί να διεξαχθεί η κλήρωση του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδας με την συμμετοχή των 12 ομάδες της δεύτερης τη τάξει εθνικής κατηγορίας και των 8 συλλόγων της Super League, οι οποίοι δεν τερμάτισαν στην πρώτη εξάδα του περσινού πρωταθλήματος.

Ωστόσο, η άρνηση των λοιμωξιολόγων να δώσουν το «ok» για την έναρξη της Super League 2, είχε προκαλέσει ζήτημα αναφορικά με την συμμετοχή των ομάδων στον δεύτερη τη τάξει θεσμό του ελληνικού ποδοσφαίρου, το Κύπελλο Ελλάδας.

Όπως αναφέρουν οι πληροφορίες, τόσο η ελληνική Ομοσπονδία, όσο και η διοίκηση της SL 2 έλαβαν την απάντηση της αρμόδιας Επιτροπής, η οποία επέτρεψε την συμμετοχή των ομάδων της δεύτερης κατηγορίας στην κλήρωση του Κυπέλλου, χωρίς ωστόσο να δώσει απάντηση για την σέντρα στο εν λόγω πρωτάθλημα.

Συγκεκριμένα, στην επιστολή της Επιτροπής αναγραφόταν:

«Ο Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής, λαμβάνοντας το λόγο παρουσίασε την εισήγηση της Επιτροπής Αντιμετώπισης Εκτάκτων Συμβάντων Δημόσιας Υγείας από Λοιμογόνους Παράγοντες, αναφορικά με τη συμμετοχή ομάδων της Super league 2 στη διεξαγωγή του Κυπέλλου Ελλάδος, η οποία κατέληξε στο να πραγματοποιηθεί η επικείμενη κλήρωση του ποδοσφαιρικού Κυπέλλου Ελλάδος χωρίς να εξαιρεθούν οι ομάδες της Super League 2.

Τα μέλη θα επανέλθουν εντός δεκαημέρου προκειμένου να εισηγηθούν επί του θέματος λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τα νεότερα επιδημιολογικά δεδομένα. Μετά από διαλογική συζήτηση τα μέλη της Επιτροπής ενέκριναν ομόφωνα την ανωτέρω εισήγηση. Ευχαριστώντας τα μέλη της Επιτροπής για την παρουσία τους, ο Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής έληξε τη συνεδρίαση».
