Ακόμα μεγαλύτερο ήταν το σκορ πρόκρισης που απέκτησε η Σέλτικ, η οποία διέλυσε με 3-0 τη Λίντσερ στη Σκωτία. Τον δρόμο για τη νίκη έδειξε ο Νίγκρεν για το 1-0 στο 26, ενώ ο Ντουράν διπλασίασε τα τέρματα των Σκωτσέζων δώδεκα λεπτά αργότερα. Στο 67΄μάλιστα πρόσθεσε και το κερασάκι στην τούρτα με το δεύτερο προσωπικό του γκολ για να διαμορφώσει το αποτέλεσμα του αγώνα.
