Panetolikos - Asteras Tripolis 3-1

An ideal start to the new championship for Giannis Anastasios' team, Arkades prevailed 3-1 in Agrinio. Granath (6’) and Mavrias (58’) laid the foundations for the victory, Makeda temporarily reduced the deficit in 77’, but Aleksic three minutes later (80’) “sealed” the three points for the “Canaries”.

The game started with a goal from the… locker room. The home team managed to connect with the net only in the 6th minute and take control of the match.

After a corner kick from Manrique, Granath jumped higher than everyone in the air and with a nice header beat Papadopoulos (1-0).

After the excellent start of the Agrinio team, Asteras gradually began to gain ground on the pitch and press for the equalizer.

Arkades missed a great opportunity to make it 1-1 in the 14th minute. Bartolo, with a nice pass, brought Ricardinho out in front of Koutsereno, with the Panaitolikos goalkeeper savingly clearing it for a corner.

In the end, and after the corner kick was taken, Kourbelis took the shot from a good position without finding the target.

Goal annulled by VAR

The visitors' superiority was transformed into a goal in the 31st minute, but without the scoreboard writing 1-1.

After a deep ball, Ricardinho headed the ball past Ketos behind the defense, who with a wonderful lob passed the ball over Kutcherenko and found the net (1-1).

However, the goal did not count, since VAR "caught" Ricardinho in an offside position by a few centimeters in a very marginal phase.

Arkades continued to have control of the match with Panaitolikos "sitting" in the 1-0 lead, giving space to the opponent and closing in on its defense.

The last good phase in the first 45 minutes was recorded in the 37th minute with a place by Ketos that went out.

Mavrias goal (2-0)

In the first minutes of the second half, the home team kept the ball at their feet for most of the time.

In fact, in their second final attempt in the 58th minute, they paired their goals and gained…a two-goal lead.

After a mistake by Mendez outside the area, Mavrias played a one-two with Sacias and with excellent placement from inside the area, he sent the ball into the net (2-0).

Asteras “pulse”

The Tripoli team had a good moment with a nice straight shot by Bartolo that was difficultly saved for a corner by Kucherenko in the 77th minute, while in the next minute (78th minute) he found the goal that put him back in the match.

Ricardinho crossed the ball and Maceda headed the ball home (2-1), giving (temporary) hope to Asteras.

Aleksic "locked" the victory

In the 80th minute, Mavrias, with a great individual effort, turned Asteras' defense upside down, Esteban passed to Aleksic and with Papadopoulos neutralized, he scored correctly, making it 3-1 and...ending the game.

Improved Panaitolikos compared to the Cup match against Kalamata, managed to find the net three times (in four final attempts) and make an ideal start in the new championship race.

On the other side, Arkades paid for the serious defensive mistakes they made, while they did not seem as effective as they should have been from the middle and forward.

Ιδανικό ποδαρικό στο νέο πρωτάθλημα για την ομάδα του Γιάννη Αναστασίου, επικράτησε 3-1 των Αρκάδων στο Αγρίνιο. Οι Γκράναθ (6’) και Μαυρίας (58’) έβαλαν τις βάσεις της νίκης, ο Μακέντα μείωσε προσωρινά στο 77’, όμως ο Άλεξιτς τρία λεπτά αργότερα (80΄) «σφράγισε» το τρίποντο για τα «καναρίνια».

Με γκολ απ΄τα…αποδυτήρια ξεκίνησε το παιχνίδι. Οι γηπεδούχοι κατάφεραν να συνδεθούν με τα δίχτυα μόλις στο 6ο λεπτό και να πάρουν στα χέρια τους το τιμόνι της αναμέτρησης.

Έπειτα από εκτέλεση κόρνερ του Μανρίκε, ο Γκράναθ πήδηξε ψηλότερα απ΄όλους στον αέρα και με ωραία κεφαλιά νίκησε τον Παπαδόπουλο (1-0).

Μετά το εξαιρετικό ξεκίνημα των Αγρινιωτών, ο Αστέρας άρχισε σταδιακά να κερδίζει μέτρα στο χορτάρι και να πιέζει για το γκολ της ισοφάρισης.

Οι Αρκάδες έχασαν σπουδαία ευκαιρία για το 1-1 στο 14΄. Ο Μπαρτόλο με ωραία πάσα έβγαλε τον Ρικαρντίνιο απέναντι από τον Κουτσερένο, με τον τερματοφύλακα του Παναιτωλικού να διώχνει σωτήρια σε κόρνερ.

Στο καπάκι κι έπειτα από την εκτέλεση του κόρνερ, ο Κουρμπέλης έπιασε το σουτ από καλή θέση χωρίς να βρει στόχο.

Ακύρωση γκολ μέσω VAR

H υπεροχή των φιλοξενούμενων μετουσιώθηκε σε γκολ στο 31΄, χωρίς όμως το ταμπλό να γράψει 1-1.

Έπειτα από βαθιά μπαλιά ο Ρικαρντίνιο πήρε την κεφαλιά και έβγαλε τον Κετού στην πλάτη της άμυνας, αυτός με υπέροχη λόμπα πέρασε την μπάλα πάνω από τον Κουτσερένκο και βρήκε δίχτυα (1-1).

Το γκολ ωστόσο δεν μέτρησε, αφού ο VAR «έπιασε» σε θέση οφσάιντ για ελάχιστα εκατοστά τον Ρικαρντίνιο σε μια άκρως οριακή φάση.

Οι Αρκάδες συνέχισαν να έχουν τον έλεγχο του αγώνα με τον Παναιτωλικό να «κάθεται» στο υπέρ του 1-0, να δίνει χώρο στον αντίπαλο και να κλείνεται στην άμυνά του.

Η τελευταία καλή φάση στο πρώτο 45λεπτο, καταγράφηκε στο 37΄με πλασέ του Κετού που πέρασε άουτ.  

Γκολ ο Μαυρίας (2-0)

Στα πρώτα λεπτά του β΄ημιχρόνου οι γηπεδούχοι κρατούσαν περισσότερη ώρα την μπάλα στα πόδια τους.

Μάλιστα στη δεύτερη τελική προσπάθειά τους στο 58΄, ζευγάρωσαν τα γκολ τους και απέκτησαν…αέρα δύο τερμάτων στο σκορ.

Έπειτα από λάθος του Μέντεζ έξω από την περιοχή, ο Μαυρίας έπαιξε το ένα – δύο με τον Σατσιά και με εξαιρετικό πλασέ μέσα από την περιοχή έστειλε την μπάλα στα δίχτυα (2-0).

«Σφυγμό» ο Αστέρας

Η ομάδα της Τρίπολης είχε μια καλή στιγμή με ωραίο ευθύβολο σουτ του Μπαρτόλο που απέκρουσε δύσκολα σε κόρνερ ο Κουτσερένκο στο 77΄, ενώ στο επόμενο λεπτό (78΄) βρήκε το γκολ που του έβαλε ξανά στο ματς.

Ο Ρικαρντίνιο έκανε τη σέντρα και ο Μακέντα με καρφωτή κεφαλιά μείωσε το σκορ (2-1) δίνοντας (προσωρινά) ελπίδες στον Αστέρα. 

«Κλείδωσε» τη νίκη ο Άλεξιτς

Στο 80΄ο Μαυρίας με ωραία ατομική ενέργεια έκανε άνω κάτω την άμυνα του Αστέρα, ο Εστεμπάν πάσαρε στον Άλεξιτς κι αυτός με τον Παπαδόπουλο εξουδετερωμένο σημάδεψε σωστά, έγραψε το 3-1 και...τελείωσε το παιχνίδι.

Βελτιωμένος ο Παναιτωλικός συγκριτικά με το ματς Κυπέλλου κόντρα στην Καλαμάτα, κατάφερε να βρει τρεις φορές το δρόμο προς τα δίχτα (σε τέσσερις τελικές προσπάθειες) και να κάνει ιδανικό ποδαρικό στην κούρσα του νέου πρωταθλήματος.

Στην αντίπερα όχθη, οι Αρκάδες πλήρωσαν τα σοβαρά αμυντικά λάθη στα οποία υπέπεσαν, ενώ δεν φάνηκαν όσο αποτελεσματικοί θα έπρεπε από τη μέση και μπροστά.
