Με ένα απίθανο comeback στα τελευταία λεπτά, η Μονακό πήρε τεράστια νίκη επί της Αρμάνι με σκορ 90-85 και έκανε μεγάλο βήμα για την 10άδα.

Τι και αν έλειπε ο Μάικ Τζέιμς; Τι και αν έχανε μέχρι τα τελευταία λεπτά του ματς; Η Μονακό έβγαλε ψυχή και με ένα τρομερό 4ο δεκάλεπτο (27-12) έκανε την ανατροπή κόντρα στην Αρμάνι και πήρε μεγάλη νίκη με σκορ 90-85, έχοντας σε τρομερή βραδιά τον Έλι Οκόμπο (16π. 13 ασίστ), τον Άλφα Ντιάλο (17π. 6ρ.) και τον Ντάνιελ Τάις (15 π. 6 ρ.)

Έτσι, ο Μάνουτσαρ Μαρκοϊσβίλι ξεκίνησε με τον καλύτερο τρόπο στους Μονεγάσκους, κάνοντας το 3/3 μετά την φυγή του Βασίλη Σπανούλη και οδηγεί την ομάδα του στην 10άδα, ανεβαίνοντας στο 19-14, ενώ η Μιλάνο έπεσε στο 16-17 και από την πλευρά της βλέπει την 10άδα να απομακρύνεται. 

Οι φιλοξενούμενοι μπήκαν από την αρχή δυνατά και έδειξαν τις προθέσεις τους, φτάνοντας γρήγορα τη διαφορά και στο +12 (5-17). Οι Μονεγάσκοι προσπάθησαν να αντιδράσουν, μείωσαν στους 8 (11-19), αλλά το +12 έμεινε στο τέλος της περιόδου, με τον Ρίτσι να κάνει το 13-25. 

Τελικά, η απάντηση των γηπεδούχων ήρθε στο δεύτερο δεκάλεπτο, και με ένα επιμέρους 15-5 έφτασαν τη διαφορά στο καλάθι (28-30) και μπήκαν ξανά στο ματς. Από εκεί και πέρα οι δύο ομάδες πήγαν χέρι-χέρι, με καμία από τις δύο να μην αφήνει την άλλη να πάρει μεγάλο προβάδισμα και τελικώς πήγαν στα αποδυτήρια με σκορ 45-48.

Στο ίδιο μήκος κύματος εξελίχθηκε και η τρίτη περίοδος, με τον Νεμάνια Νέντοβιτς να βάζει μπροστά τη Μονακό με πέντε σερί πόντους και να κάνει το 50-48. Ωστόσο, πάλι οι Γάλλοι δεν κατάφεραν να «πατήσουν» σε αυτό και να χτίσουν διαφορά, με τη Μιλάνο να παίρνει ξανά άμεσα κεφάλι στο σκορ και να πηγαίνει στο +10 με τον Σιλιντς (63-73).

Ωστόσο, στο τελευταίο δεκάλεπτο όλα άλλαξαν. Η Μονακό έβγαλε ψυχή, ξεκίνησε να σκοράρει ακατάπαυστα, έπαιξε σκληρή άμυνα και από εκεί που ήταν στο -12, βρέθηκε να προηγείται αυτή με 7 (87-82) και τελικά πήρε τη νίκη με σκορ 90-85.
