PAOK had the ambition, but Olympiacos was serious on Sunday afternoon (8/3). They won 100-73 and made it 19/19 in the Stoiximan GBL. Walkap, Morris, Vezenkov, Milutinov did not play.

Olympiacos continued its undefeated run in the Stoiximan GBL on Sunday afternoon (8/3), as they defeated PAOK 100-73 at SEF for the 20th matchday of the championship.

Piraeus climbed to 19-0 (10-0 at home and 9-0 away), with Giorgos Bartzokas without Thomas Walkup, Monte Morris, Sasha Vezenkov and resting Nikola Milutinov. Cory Joseph and Shaquille McKissic are out of the Greek roster.

Alec Peters scored a lot (26 points), Ward and Papanikolaou distributed the ball correctly, in general the red and whites did the job without being pressured, as their minds were on the matches against Paris and Monaco, on the evening of March 10 and 12 respectively.

PAOK fell to 11-6 (4-3 home and 7-3 away), who started the match badly, found themselves losing by 18, gnawed the difference to eight at halftime (41-33), but conceded 28 points in the third quarter and resigned themselves to their fate.

Thomas Dimsa and Cleveland Melvin were the two who stood out, although the most “fuss” was made by Patrick Beverly, who was once again left out of the six foreign players. The American put on a show from the bench, with teammates, opponents, the referees, everyone.

Ο ΠΑΟΚ είχε την φιλοδοξία, όμως ο Ολυμπιακός ήταν σοβαρός το μεσημέρι της Κυριακής (8/3). Νίκησε με 100-73 και έκανε το 19/19 στη Stoiximan GBL. Δεν έπαιξαν Γουόκαπ, Μόρις, Βεζένκοβ, Μιλουτίνοβ.

Την αήττητη πορεία του στη Stoiximan GBL συνέχισε το μεσημέρι της Κυριακής (8/3) ο Ολυμπιακός, ο οποίος επικράτησε με 100-73 του ΠΑΟΚ στο ΣΕΦ για την 20η αγωνιστική του πρωταθλήματος.

Στο 19-0 ανέβηκαν οι Πειραιώτες (10-0 εντός και 9-0 εκτός έδρας), με τον Γιώργο Μπαρτζώκα να μην έχει τους Τόμας Γουόκαπ, Μόντε Μόρις, Σάσα Βεζένκοβ και να ξεκουράζει τον Νίκολα Μιλουτίνοβ. Εκτός ελληνικού ρόστερ οι Κόρι Τζόσεφ – Σακίλ ΜακΚίσικ.

Ο Άλεκ Πίτερς σκόραρε πολύ (26 πόντοι), Γουορντ και Παπανικολάου μοίρασαν σωστά τη μπάλα, γενικώς οι ερυθρόλευκοι έκαναν τη δουλειά χωρίς να πιεστούν, καθώς το μυαλό τους βρισκόταν στους αγώνες με Παρί και Μονακό, το βράδυ της 10ης και της 12ης Μαρτίου αντίστοιχα.

Στο 11-6 έπεσε ο ΠΑΟΚ (4-3 εντός και 7-3 εκτός έδρας), που μπήκε άσχημα στο ματς, βρέθηκε να χάνει με 18, ροκάνισε τη διαφορά μέχρι τους οκτώ στο ημίχρονο (41-33), όμως δέχθηκε 28 πόντους στο τρίτο δεκάλεπτο και συμβιβάστηκε με τη μοίρα του.

Τόμας Ντιμσά και Κλίβελαντ Μέλβιν ήταν οι δύο που ξεχώρισαν, αν και την περισσότερη “φασαρία” την έκανε ο Πάτρικ Μπέβερλι που έμεινε και πάλι εκτός εξάδας ξένων. Ο Αμερικανός έδωσε show από τον πάγκο, με συμπαίκτες, αντιπάλους, με τους διαιτητές, με όλους.
