Elite Oliver at Leverkusen-Olympiakos

UEFA has appointed Englishman Michael Oliver to the rematch of Olympiacos with Bayer Leverkusen in Germany (24/2, 22:00), for the Champions League playoffs.

For the second time this season, the 41-year-old referee, who belongs to the UEFA elite category, will officiate a Piraeus game. In the League Phase, he had also officiated the Olympiacos-Real 3-4 at Karaiskaki.

Previously, he had also been in the Trabzonspor-AEK 0-2 (2019) for the Europa League qualifiers, in Besiktas-Olympiakos (4-1) for the Europa League "16" and in the PAOK match with Alkmaar (2-2) but also in the battles of the Greek National Team with Denmark and the Netherlands.

Assistants will be his compatriots Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring, 4th Andrew Mandley and in VAR the Italian Marco Di Bello with the Pole Tomasz Kwiatkowski.

Τον Άγγλο Μάικλ Όλιβερ όρισε η UEFA στη ρεβάνς του Ολυμπιακού με την Μπάγερ Λεβερκούζεν στη Γερμανία (24/2, 22:00), για τα πλέι οφ του Champions League. 

Για δεύτερη φορά τη φετινή σεζόν σε παιχνίδι των Πειραιωτών ο 41χρονος ρέφερι, που ανήκει στην κατηγορία elite της UEFA. Στη League Phase είχε διευθύνει και το Ολυμπιακός-Ρεάλ 3-4 στο Καραϊσκάκη. 

Παλαιότερα είχε βρεθεί και στο Τράμπζονσπορ-ΑΕΚ 0-2 (2019) για τα προκριματικά του Europa League, στο Μπεσίκτας-Ολυμπιακός (4-1) για τους «16» του Europa League και στο ματς του ΠΑΟΚ με την Άλκμααρ (2-2) αλλά και στις μάχες της Εθνικής Ελλάδος με Δανία και Ολλανδία.

Βοηθοί θα είναι οι συμπατριώτες του Στιούαρτ Μπερτ και Τζέιμς Μέινγουορινγκ, 4ος ο Άντριου Μάντλεϊ και στο VAR ο Ιταλός Μάρκο Ντι Μπέλο με τον Πολωνό Τόμας Κβιατκόφσκι.
