Πρόκειται για ένα από τα μεγάλα ταλέντα της Αμερικής καθώς στα 20 του χρόνια μετρά ήδη 71 συμμετοχές με 2 γκολ και 4 ασίστ ντυμένος στα χρώματα της Σαν Χοσέ. Ο Νίκο Τσακίρης είχε συμβόλαιο μέχρι το καλοκαίρι με την αμερικάνικη ομάδα και περίμενε τις εξελίξεις γύρω από το κομμάτι της ανανέωσης.

Οι δύο πλευρές τα βρήκαν και ο ταλαντούχος ποδοσφαιριστής θα παραμείνει στο ρόστερ της ομάδας που τον μεγάλωσε μέχρι και το καλοκαίρι του 2029 με οψιόν ανανέωσης για ακόμα έναν χρόνο.

Παράλληλα θα λάβει αυξημένες οικονομικές απολαβές ενώ είναι διεθνής με την Κ23 των ΗΠΑ, την ίδια στιγμή που ονειρεύεται την κλήση του στην πρώτη ομάδα όπως είχε παραδεχθεί και στο Gazzetta.

Να θυμίσουμε ότι έχει ελληνικές ρίζες και θα μπορούσε να κληθεί και στην Εθνική Ελλάδος όμως μόνο εύκολο δεν είναι να συμβεί κάτι τέτοιο.
