Με σαφή διαφορά ποιότητας, ο Ολυμπιακός νίκησε την Αστερίξ στο Μπέβερεν 3-0 σετ και προκρίθηκε πανηγυρικά στον τρίτο προκριματικό γύρο του Champιons League βόλεϊ γυναικών.

«Περίπατος» και πρόκριση για τον Ολυμπιακό. Οι «ερυθρόλευκοι» «καθάρισαν» με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες 3-0 σετ την Αστερίξ στο Μπέβερεν στον δεύτερο μεταξύ τους αγώνα για τον δεύτερο προκριματικό γύρο του Champions League βόλεϊ γυναικών και, σε συνδυασμό με τη νίκη με το ίδιο σκορ στην πρώτη αναμέτρηση στου Ρέντη την περασμένη Τετάρτη, πήραν το «εισιτήριο» για τον τρίτο προκριματικό, όπου θα αντιμετωπίσουν την ουγγρική Βάσας του Γιάννη Αθανασόπουλου στην προσπάθεια πρόκρισης στους ομίλους της κορυφαίας ευρωπαϊκής διασυλλογικής διοργάνωσης.

Η ομάδα του Μπράνκο Κοβάσειβτς υπερίσχυσε στο σερβίς με 10 άσσους έναντι κανενός των Βελγίδων, ενώ έδειξε χαρακτήρα στα κρίσιμα σημεία του αγώνα.

Πρώτη σκόρερ για τις νικήτριες ήταν η Κούμπουρα με 13 πόντους.
