UEFA rejects Wenger's proposal in summary proceedings and maintains its format as is.

Arsene Wenger, as head of global football development at FIFA, suggested that the winner of the Europa League not enter the Champions League, as was the case with the League Phase and groups.

However, UEFA did not even go into the process of listening to this proposal and will maintain the formats of its competitions as is.

Η UEFA απέρριψε την πρόταση του Βενγκέρ με συνοπτικές διαδικασίες και διατηρεί το format της ως έχει.

Ο Αρσέν Βενγκέρ ως επικεφαλής της παγκόσμιας ανάπτυξης του ποδοσφαίρου στη FIFA, πρότεινε ο νικητής του Europa League να μην μπαίνει στο Champions League, όπως ίσχυε και με τη League Phase και με ομίλους.

Η UEFA όμως δεν μπήκε σε διαδικασία ούτε να ακούσει την πρόταση αυτή και θα διατηρήσει τα φορμάτ των διοργανώσεών της ως έχει.
