The Knicks are proving to be a very tough nut to crack. The New York team was not deterred by the two breaks it received in New York and responded with a double of its own in Indiana for 106-100. In the second period, it found itself losing by even 20 points, but turned it around in the end.

Σίγουρα η Νέα Υόρκη φέτος έχει δείξει πως ξέρει να κάνει ανατροπές. Αυτή είναι και η τρίτη φορά που επιστρέφει απο το -20 στα φετινά playoffs και παίρνει το ματς. Αυτές οι τρεις φορές είναι και οι περισσότερες σε μια σεζόν για οποιαδήποτε ομάδα στα playoffs από το 1998 μέχρι σήμερα.

Oι Νικς είχαν ανοίξει με break στην παράταση τη σειρά των ημιτελικών περιφέρειας κόντρα στους Σέλτικς, αφού επέστρεψαν από το -20 μέσα στο TD Garden (έχαναν 75-55). Μάλιστα στο δεύτερο ματς της σειράς έγιναν η πρώτη ομάδα που επιστρέφει σε δύο σερί ματς από το -20. καθώς επικράτησε και στο Game 2 των Σέλτικς.
