Lamia - Athens Kallithea 0-2

With goals from Alfarela (45') and Lebon (78'), Athens Kallithea raised a…flag at “Athanassios Diakos”, defeated Lamia 2-0 and climbed above the relegation zone.

The game had the character of a final for both teams who are fighting hard to stay in the Super League.

Athens Kallithea was better on the pitch and in the 16th minute found its way to the net. After an excellent free kick by Valbuena, Tsivelekidis jumped higher than everyone else and scored.

However, the VAR (Vergetis) reported to the referee (Fotias) that the scorer used his hand and so the goal was disallowed.

The guests, even after the disallowed goal, showed more energy and nerve in their movements. In the 40th minute, Demetrius's good shot went wide, while in the 45th minute Stelios Malezas' team took…the helm of the match into its own hands.

After a deep – balanced – ball from Mercati, Alfarella made a perfect control, dribbled past Kostic and sent the ball into the net (0-1).

A great opportunity for Athens Kallithea to pair its goals in the 47th minute. Demetrius, after a nice collaboration with Alfarella, missed with a diagonal shot from a shooting position.

In the 50th minute, the hosts threatened the opposing goal for the first time with a direct free kick from Soria that was impressively saved by Gelios.

Another missed opportunity for the Fthiotians in the 52nd minute. Gelios caught Bilal who stole the ball from Tsivelekidis and in the development of the phase Bilal shot at the visitors' goalkeeper.

After the 65th minute and seeing the pressure of the home team increasing, Malezas played with three stoppers (Mechias, Pasalidis, Tsivelekidis) in defense.

Goal by Lebon (0-2)

Against the flow of the match and in a period where Lamia was pressing for the equalizer, Athens Kallithea paired its goals in the 78th minute and in essence...locked in its precious victory.

Soiri passed a vertical pass to Lebon and he (five minutes after entering the match) dribbled past Kostic and scored (0-2) throwing titles to the end of the match.

With the three points he scored, Athens Kallithea reached 25 points, rose to +9 from the bottom Lamia (16 points) and…climbed above the relegation zone.

On the other side, the Fthiotians suffered a painful defeat and only by a miracle will they avoid…relegation to Super League 2.

Referee Vasilis Fotias (Pella) showed a yellow card to Sakor, Vlachomitros, Ring, Pasalidis, Megiados, Loukinas.

Με γκολ των Αλφαρέλα (45΄) και Λεμπόν (78΄) η Athens Kallithea έστησε…σημαία στο «Αθανάσιος Διάκος», επικράτησε 2-0 της Λαμίας και σκαρφάλωσε πάνω από τη ζώνη του υποβιβασμού.

Το παιχνίδι είχε χαρακτήρα τελικού και για τις δύο ομάδες που δίνουν τον υπέρ πάντων αγώνα για την παραμονή στη Super League.

Η Athens Kallithea πατούσε καλύτερα στο χορτάρι και στο 16΄βρήκε το δρόμο προς τα δίχτυα. Μετά από εξαιρετική εκτέλεση φάουλ του Βαλμπουενά ο Τσιβελεκίδης πήδηξε πιο ψηλά απ΄όλους και σκόραρε.

Ωστόσο το VAR (Βεργέτης) μετέφερε στο διαιτητή (Φωτιάς) πως ο σκόρερ χρησιμοποίησε το χέρι του κι έτσι το γκολ ακυρώθηκε.

Οι φιλοξενούμενοι και μετά το ακυρωθέν γκολ έβγαζαν μεγαλύτερη ενέργεια και νεύρο στις κινήσεις τους.  Στο 40΄καλό σουτ του Ντεμέτριους πέρασε άουτ, ενώ στο 45΄η ομάδα του Στέλιου Μαλεζά πήρε το…τιμόνι του αγώνα στα χέρια της.

Έπειτα από βαθιά – ζυγισμένη - μπαλιά του Μερκάτι ο Αλφαρέλα έκανε άψογο κοντρόλ, ντρίμπλαρε τον Κόστιτς κι έστειλε την μπάλα στα δίχτυα (0-1).

Μεγάλη ευκαιρία για την Athens Kallithea να ζευγαρώσει τα τέρματά της στο 47΄. Ο Ντεμέτριους έπειτα από ωραία συνεργασία με τον Αλφαρέλα αστόχησε με διαγώνιο σουτ από θέση βολής.

Στο 50΄οι γηπεδούχοι απείλησαν για πρώτη φορά την αντίπαλη εστία με απευθείας χτύπημα φάουλ του Σόρια που απέκρουσε εντυπωσιακά ο Γκέλιος.

Νέα χαμένη ευκαιρία για τους Φθιώτες στο 52΄. Ο Γκέλιος πρόλαβε τον Μπιλάλ που έκλεψε την μπάλα από τον Τσιβελεκίδη και στην εξέλιξη της φάσης ο Μπιλάλ σούταρε πάνω στον τερματοφύλακα των φιλοξενούμενων.

Μετά το 65΄και βλέποντας την πίεση των γηπεδούχων να αυξάνεται ο Μαλεζάς έπαιξε με τρεις στόπερ (Μεχίας, Πασαλίδης, Τσιβελεκίδης) στην άμυνα. 

Γκολ ο Λεμπόν (0-2)

Κόντρα στη ροή του αγώνα και σε ένα διάστημα όπου η Λαμία πίεζε για το γκολ της ισοφάρισης, η Athens Kallithea ζευγάρωσε τέρματά της στο 78΄ και επί της ουσίας...κλείδωσε την πολύτιμη νίκη της. 

Ο Σοίρι πέρασε κάθετη πάσα στον Λεμπόν κι αυτός (πέντα λεπτά μετά την είσοδό του στο ματς) ντρίμπλαρε τον Κόστιτς και σκόραρε (0-2) ρίχνοντας τίτλους τέλους στο ματς. 

Με τους τρεις βαθμούς που έριξε στο σακούλι η Athens Kallithea έφτασε τους 25 βαθμούς, ανέβηκε στο +9 από την ουραγό Λαμία (16β.) και…σκαρφάλωσε πάνω από τη ζώνη του υποβιβασμού.

Στην αντίπερα όχθη, οι Φθιώτες γνώρισαν οδυνηρή ήττα και μόνο με θαύμα θα αποφύγουν την...μετάθεση στη Super League 2. 

O διαιτητής Βασίλης Φωτιάς (Πέλλας) έδειξε κίτρινη κάρτα στους Σακόρ, Βλαχομήτρο, Ρινγκ, Πασαλίδη, Μεγιάδο, Λουκίνας.
