Η Μονακό συνέχισε αήττητη στο γαλλικό πρωτάθλημα, καθώς νίκησε εκτός έδρας τη Ρεν (2-1) και ανέβηκε στην κορυφή της βαθμολογίας, περιμένοντας «στραβοπάτημα» της Παρί για να εδραιωθεί!

Τον... χαβά της στη Γαλλία η Μονακό! Η ομάδα του πριγκιπάτου νίκησε 2-1 εκτός έδρας τη Ρεν και συνέχισε αήττητη μετά από 7 αγωνιστικές του πρωταθλήματος, έχοντας 6 νίκες και 1 ισοπαλία! Κάπως έτσι, ανέβηκε στην κορυφή με 19 βαθμούς και περιμένει «γκέλα» της Παρί αύριο (06/10) έτσι ώστε να εδραιωθεί εκεί!

Οι φιλοξενούμενοι πήραν προβάδισμα με εκτέλεση κόρνερ του Μπεν Σεγκίρ και κεφαλιά του Τιλό Κερέρ στο 6'. Η απάντηση ήρθε άμεσα για τη Ρεν, η οποία στο 11' ισοφάρισε, με τον Λουντοβίκ Μπλας να βάζει ένα από τα γκολ της χρονιάς μέχρι στιγμής, μία αδιανόητη «οβίδα» από τα 40 μέτρα!

Παρόλα αυτά, οι Μονεγάσκοι δεν «μάσησαν», και βρήκαν απάντηση στο 22'. Μετά από εντυπωσιακή κάθετη του Μπεν Σεγκίρ, που είχε την ασίστ και στο πρώτο γκολ, ο Φολαρίν Μπαλογκάν κινήθηκε εξαιρετικά και πλάσαρε τον αντίπαλο τερματοφύλακα, δίνοντας νέο προβάδισμα στη Μονακό με σκορ 2-1.

Παρά το εκρηκτικό αυτό ξεκίνημα με 3 γκολ στα πρώτα 22 λεπτά της αναμέτρησης, από εκείνο το σημείο και μετά δεν άλλαξε κάτι, με τη Μονακό να «σβήνει» το ματς και να παίρνει την πολύτιμη νίκη σε μία πολύ δύσκολη έδρα.
