AEK - PAOK 9-10

With an impressive performance from the second eight minutes onwards, the girls of Dikephalos of the North prevailed with 10-9 of AEK for the A1 women's polo.

This was the first victory this year for PAOK, as in the first two matches they had not managed to collect any points. On the contrary, the Union remained in the lower strata of the standings without a victory yet in the league.

AEK entered the match very strongly in the first quarter as well, scoring 4 goals with Apostolidou as the protagonist to end the period 4-1 in favor of the yellow and black. From then on, everything changed. Thessaloniki, with the Karipidou sisters taking action, reduced the difference considerably, going into halftime with a score of 5-4 again in favor of the home team.

In the replay, the black and whites stepped on the gas and with a scorer from Tzelepi, they went ahead with 9-7 at the end of the third eight minutes. The AEK girls tried to go down again with Apostolidou, but V. Karipidou made it 10-8 for PAOK with a penalty, sealing the first victory for her team, with AEK simply going down 10-9 in the final in favor of PAOK.

Με εντυπωσιακή εμφάνιση από το δεύτερο οκτάλεπτο και μετά, τα κορίτσια του Δικεφάλου του Βορρά επικράτησαν με 10-9 της ΑΕΚ για την Α1 πόλο γυναικών.

Αυτή ήταν η πρώτη νίκη φέτος για τον ΠΑΟΚ, καθώς στις δύο πρώτες αγωνιστικές δεν είχε καταφέρει να συγκεντρώσει κάποιον βαθμό. Αντίθετα, η Ένωση παρέμεινε στα χαμηλά στρώματα της βαθμολογίας χωρίς νίκη ακόμα στο πρωτάθλημα. 

Η ΑΕΚ μπήκε πολύ δυνατά στον αγώνα και το πρώτο δεκάλεπτο σημειώνοντας 4 γκολ με πρωταγωνίστρια την Αποστολίδου για να λήξει η περίοδος με το 4-1 υπέρ των κιτρινόμαυρων. Από εκεί και μετά, άλλαξαν όλα. Οι Θεσσαλονικιές με τις αδελφές Καριπίδου να αναλαμβάνουν δράση μείωσε αρκετά την διαφορά, πηγαίνοντας στο ημίχρονο με σκορ 5-4 υπέρ και πάλι των γηπεδούχων.

Στην επανάληψη, οι ασπρόμαυρες πάτησαν γκάζι και με σκόρερ την Τζελέπη πέρασαν μπροστά με 9-7 στο τέλος του τρίτου οκταλέπτου. Τα κορίτσια της ΑΕΚ προσπάθησαν να μειώσουν ξανά με την Αποστολίδου, αλλά η Β. Καριπίδου με πέναλτι έκανε το 10-8 για τον ΠΑΟΚ, κλειδώνοντας την πρώτη νίκη για την ομάδα της, με την ΑΕΚ απλά να μειώνει στο τελικό 10-9 υπέρ του ΠΑΟΚ.
