AE Limassol - AEK Larnaca 1-1: The three points were awarded!

In a match that started very dynamically in the first half, AEL and AEK emerged tied with a score of 1-1 in the derby of the 8th game of the Cyprus League at the "AlfaMega" stadium.

From today's schedule of the 8th matchday of the Cyprus League, the big derby between AE Limassol and AEK Larnaca, at the "AlfaMega" stadium, clearly stood out.

Here we have to emphasize the empty "AlfaMega", a result of the punishment of AEL for what unfolded off the pitch in the Limassol derby of the 3rd matchday against Apollon. Entry is allowed only to children and the elderly, with approval from the KOP and this to a limited extent.

The four minutes that "defined" the match

This, however, in no way affected the importance of the match, with both teams burning for the three points, so that on the one hand they can continue the positive results and on the other hand they consolidate in the standings!

The game started with an opportunity for AEK. In the first seconds of the game, the Larnaca team won a free kick from the left. Pons took the cross with Cabrera getting the header and Braga collecting steadily.

Henning Berg's team caught up, as with Anorthosis, from the early stages of the game, turned up the pressure a lot and tried to impose themselves with a "dynamic" start.

Another threat may have emerged in the first period, again with Cabrera's header, but the Limassol team was the first to show its "teeth". First with Zachariou and then with Meyados, the "Leontes" threatened Athanasiadis' goal with long shots, from the 9th to the 13th minute. In the first case, the Greek goalkeeper kicked out for a corner, while in the second he saw the ball "scratch" his crossbar.

The superiority of AEL was to be rewarded. In an almost unsuspected phase in the 22nd minute, with Zachariou and Angel Garthia chasing a big ball, the latter tried irregularly to stop the AEL player and incurred a penalty violation! Theoulis examined the phase in the on field review and decided that there is irregular marking. Makris took over the execution and hit the target giving the home team the lead!

If nothing else, the new condition in the match gave new interest, with AEK being called upon to make any kind of reaction! Reaction and answer that would not be long in coming. In the 26th minute, the fateful García of the penalty took the cross from the left, with Enzo Cabrera getting his third header inside the opponent's area, which turned out to be the winner. The centre-forward's header brought the score back to 1-1 and the game seemed to start all over again.

A hammering by AEK followed, with many chances and threats, and a truly impressive statistic. A goal and 4 big chances were disallowed for offside offences!

Nevertheless, the superiority of the guests was evident. AEL seemed to have lost their concentration after the goal they conceded while "automatic" collaborations did not come out with the team constantly under threat. Perhaps the need for initiatives that stood out in AEK was missing, nevertheless the "Leontes" were not punished.

The half ended without any other emotions, with the two teams leaving open accounts for the expected continuation of the second part.

The second 45 minutes started with both teams trying to find a good rhythm and threatening moments. It may be that in the initial period, the great opportunity was absent, however, both "glamorists" showed their moods.

In the 60th minute, Zachariou stepped into the area from the right, carried up the line, taking out the parallel ball. Athanasiadis collected not consistently, Makris went to take advantage of the situation but did not manage to put his foot down.

In the 63rd minute Tokou again from the right, converged, executed with the left but the ball ended up too high. AEK couldn't threaten yet, with Coleman giving the right instructions to his side who were hardly threatened at all.

After 70', the ensemble of Henning Berg, troubled until that point, tried to raise his performance. In the 79th minute, the "Yellow-Greens", had their first major threat at the home of Braga in the second half.

Garcia, as in the goal, turned in the penalty, the ball went through everyone and ended up in an unmolested Farage, who crossed, with an overextended Ouedraogo clearing on the line!

The score was stuck at 1-1, with the pressure mounting as both looked for the coveted three points! In the last five minutes, AEK fought with two goals, Angielski and Fran Sol, suggesting that they only want victory.

A victory that did not come, as there was no other good moment, with the two teams sharing one point and the winning streaks of both opponents coming to an end!

Σε μια αναμέτρηση που ξεκίνησε πολύ δυναμικά στο πρώτο ημίχρονο, ΑΕΛ και ΑΕΚ αναδείχθηκαν ισόπαλες με σκορ 1-1 στο ντέρμπι της 8ης αγωνιστικής της Cyprus League στο στάδιο «ΆλφαΜέγα».

Από το σημερινό πρόγραμμα της 8ης αγωνιστικής της Cyprus League, ξεχώριζε σαφώς το μεγάλο ντέρμπι ανάμεσα στην ΑΕ Λεμεσού και την ΑΕΚ Λάρνακας, στο στάδιο «ΆλφαΜέγα».

Εδώ πρέπει να τονίσουμε το άδειο «ΆλφαΜέγα», απόρροια της τιμωρίας της ΑΕΛ για τα όσα εξωγηπεδικά εκτυλίχθηκαν στο Λεμεσιανό ντέρμπι της 3ης αγωνιστικής με τον Απόλλωνα. Είσοδος επετράπει μόνο σε παιδιά και ηλικιωμένους, με έγκριση από την ΚΟΠ και αυτό σε περιορισμένο βαθμό.

Το τετράλεπτο που «όρισε» την αναμέτρηση

Αυτό ωστόσο, σε κανένα πλαίσιο δεν επηρέασε την κομβικότητα της αναμέτρησης και με τις δυο ομάδες να καίγονται για το τρίποντο, ώστε αφενός να δώσουν συνέχεια στα θετικά αποτελέσματα και αφετέρου να εδραιωθούν στη βαθμολογία!

Το παιχνίδι ξεκίνησε με ευκαιρία για την ΑΕΚ. Στα πρώτα δευτερόλεπτα του παιχνιδιού, η ομάδα της Λάρνακας κέρδισε φάουλ από τα αριστερά. Ο Πονς έβγαλε την σέντρα με τον Καμπρέρα να παίρνει την κεφαλιά και τον Μπράγκα να μαζεύει σταθερά.

Συλλήβδην το σύνολο του Χένινγκ Μπεργκ, όπως και με την Ανόρθωση, από τα πρώιμα στάδια του παιχνιδιού, ανέβασε πολύ την πίεσή και προσπάθησε να επιβληθεί με ένα «δυναμικό» ξεκίνημα.

Μπορεί να προέκυψε άλλη μια απειλή στο πρώτο διάστημα, πάλι με κεφαλιά του Καμπρέρα, ωστόσο η ομάδα της Λεμεσού ήταν αυτή που πρώτη έδειξε τα «δόντια της». Πρώτα με τον Ζαχαρίου και έπειτα με τον Μεγιάδο, οι «Λέοντες» απείλησαν την εστία του Αθανασιάδη με μακρινά σουτ, από το 9ο μέχρι το 13ο λεπτό. Στη πρώτη περίπτωση ο Έλληνας γκολκίπερ έδιωξε σε κόρνερ, ενώ στη δεύτερη είδε την μπάλα να «ξύνει» το οριζόντιο δοκάρι του.

Η ανωτερότητα της ΑΕΛ, επρόκειτο να επιβραβευτεί. Σε μια σχεδόν ανύποπτη φάση στο 22ο λεπτό, με τους Ζαχαρίου και Άνχελ Γκαρθία να κυνηγάνε μια μεγάλη μπαλιά, ο δεύτερος προσπάθησε αντικανονικά να σταματήσει τον παίκτη της ΑΕΛ και υπέπεσε σε παράβαση πέναλτι! Ο Θεουλή, εξέτασε την φάση στο on field review και έκρινε ότι υφίσταται αντικανονικό μαρκάρισμα. Ο Μακρής ανέλαβε την εκτέλεση και ευστόχησε δίνοντας προβάδισμα στους Γηπεδούχους!

Αν μη τι άλλο, η νέα συνθήκη στον αγώνα έδινε νέο ενδιαφέρον, με την ΑΕΚ να καλείται να βγάλει όπως και δήποτε αντίδραση! Αντίδραση και απάντηση που δεν θα αργούσε να έρθει. Στο 26', ο μοιραίος Γκαρθία του πέναλτι, έβγαλε τη σέντρα από αριστερά, με τον Ένζο Καμπρέρα να παίρνει τη τρίτη του κεφαλιά μέσα στην αντίπαλη περιοχή, η οποία αποδείχθηκε και η φαρμακερή. Το σκορ με την κεφαλιά του κεντρικού επιθετικού επανήλθε στο 1-1 και το παιχνίδι ήταν σαν να ξαναξεκίνησε από την αρχή. 

Ακολούθησε ένα σφυροκόπημα της ΑΕΚ, με πολλές ευκαιρίες και απειλές, και ένα πραγματικά εντυπωσιακό στατιστικό. Ένα γκολ και 4 μεγάλες ευκαιρίες της ακυρώθηκαν λόγω παραβάσεων οφσάιντ!

Παρόλα αυτά, η ανωτερότητα των φιλοξενουμένων ήταν εμφανής. Η ΑΕΛ έδειχνε να έχει χάσει τη συγκέντρωσή της μετά το γκολ που δέχθηκε ενώ συνεργασίες «αυτοματισμοί» δεν έβγαιναν με την ομάδα να απειλείται διαρκώς. Ίσως έλειψε η ανάγκη πρωτοβουλιών που ξεχώριζε στην ΑΕΚ παρόλα αυτά οι «Λέοντες» δεν τιμωρήθηκαν.

Το ημίχρονο ολοκληρώθηκε δίχως άλλες συγκινήσεις, με τις δυο ομάδες να αφήνουν ανοικτούς λογαριασμούς για την αναμενόμενη συνέχεια του δευτέρου μέρους.

Το δεύτερο 45λεπτο ξεκίνησε και με τις δυο ομάδες να προσπαθούν να βρουν καλό ρυθμό και απειλητικές στιγμές. Μπορεί στο αρχικό διάστημα, να απουσίαζε η μεγάλη ευκαιρία, ωστόσο και αμφότεροι «μονομάχοι», έδειχναν τις διαθέσεις τους.

Στο 60ο λεπτό, ο Ζαχαρίου πάτησε περιοχή από δεξιά, κουβάλησε επάνω στη γραμμή βγάζοντας την παράλληλη μπαλιά. Ο Αθανασιάδης μάζεψε όχι σταθερά, ο Μακρής πήγε να εκμεταλλευτεί τον συνθήκη ωστόσο δεν πρόφθασε να βάλει το πόδι του.

Στο 63ο λεπτό ο Τοκού πάλι από δεξιά, συνέκλινε, εκτέλεσε με το αριστερό αλλά η μπάλα κατέληξε πολύ ψηλά. Η ΑΕΚ δεν μπορούσε να απειλήσει ακόμα, με τον Κόλμαν να έχει δώσει σωστές οδηγίες στο σύνολο του το οποίο δεν απειλούταν σχεδόν καθόλου.

Μετά το 70', το σύνολο του προβληματισμένου μέχρι εκείνο το σημείο Χένινγκ Μπέργκ, προσπάθησε να ανεβάσει την απόδοσή του. Στο 79ο λεπτό, οι «Κιτρινοπράσινοι», είχαν την πρώτη μεγάλη απειλή τους στην εστία του Μπράγκα στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο.

Ο Γκαρθία, όπως και στο γκολ, έκανε γύρισμα στο πέναλτι, η μπάλα πέρασε από όλους και κατέληξε στον ανενόχλητο Φαράζ, ο οποίος πλάσαρε, με τον Ουεντραόγκο σε υπερένταση να διώχνει στη γραμμή!

Το σκορ έμενε κολλημένο στο 1-1, με την πίεση να ανεβαίνει καθώς και οι δυο αναζητούσαν το πολυπόθητο τρίποντο! Στο τελευταίο πεντάλεπτο, η ΑΕΚ αγωνίστηκε με δυο φορ, τους Ανγκιέλσκι και Φραν Σολ, υποδηλώνοντας ότι θέλει μόνο την νίκη.

Μια νίκη που δεν ήρθε, καθώς δεν υπήρξε άλλη καλή στιγμή, με τις δυο ομάδες να μοιράζονται από έναν βαθμό και να μπαίνει φρένο στα νικηφόρα σερί και αμφότερων αντιπάλων!
