Μία ιδιαίτερα σημαντική νίκη στη μάχη που δίνει να βρεθεί στην πρώτη τετράδα της EuroLeague πήρε η Ζενίτ, η οποία επικράτησε 79-70 κόντρα στην Αρμάνι Μιλάνο σε εξ' αναβολής αναμέτρηση για την 5η αγωνιστική.

Η Αρμάνι έτρεξε επί μέρους 16-7 στα υπόλοιπα πέντε λεπτά της δεύτερης περιόδου και έτσι οι δύο ομάδες πήγαν στα αποδυτήρια με διαφορά στο καλάθι (40-38).
