Villarreal sign Brereton from Blackburn
Villarreal takes Brereton!
Formalities remain to complete Villarreal's deal with Blackburn for striker Ben Brereton.
The England striker, who plays for the Chilean national team due to his mother's background, has caught the eye of a number of clubs, with the 'yellow submarine' being the one to land his signature next summer. In fact, the agreement between the two clubs has been reached since last January.
The 24-year-old striker has been an outstanding presence in the Championship over the last two years, and this year he is Blackburn's main attacking weapon, scoring 14 goals and 4 assists in all competitions. According to Fabrizio Romano, Brereton will join Villarreal at the end of the season, signing a four-year contract until June 2027.

Μάλιστα, η συμφωνία ανάμεσα στους δύο συλλόγους έχει επιτευχθεί από τον περασμένο Ιανουάριο.
Ο 24χρονος επιθετικός έχει εξαιρετική παρουσία στην Championship τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια, ενώ φέτος αποτελεί το βασικό επιθετικό όπλο της Μπλάκμπερν, μετρώντας 14 γκολ και 4 ασίστ σε όλες τις διοργανώσεις. Σύμφωνα με τον Φαμπρίτσιο Ρομάνο, ο Μπρέρετον θα ενσωματωθεί στη Βιγιαρεάλ μετά το τέλος της σεζόν, ενώ θα υπογράψει συμβόλαιο συνεργασίας τεσσάρων χρόνων, μέχρι τον Ιούνιο του 2027.
