Zwolle - AEK 2-3

Although they were behind 2-1 (56') within five minutes, AEK managed to turn the tables with two goals from Barnabas Varga and reached their third friendly victory in four matches, while waiting for the transfer reinforcement.

In the rainy Netherlands and the "MAC³PARK Stadion", the Union entered the match with the intention of controlling it completely. In the 8th minute, they scored the first final goal with Pelion's shot being blocked by de Graaf after a nice development and vertical pass by Koita.

The first 20 minutes passed quickly, with Marko Nikolic's team pressing Zwolle's "build up" and comfortably circulating the ball whenever they had the chance. In the 23rd minute, de Graaf blocked Jovic's header after Marin's corner, one of the many that the "yellow and black" won, while in the 26th minute, Relvas blocked Tomas' shot.

AEK intensified its pressure and in the 33rd minute opened the score (0-1) thanks to Koita's "solo" from the left, the movement towards the axis and the shot from the height of the area, with the ball counterattacking and leaving de Graaf "statue". In the 36th minute, Varga's header went wide, while in the 42nd minute, Brignoli blocked Osting's foul. Halftime at 0-1.

Returning from the locker room, the Serbian coach of AEK did not make any changes. Zwolle came in more determined, focused, took the reins and turned the game around within five minutes! In the 51st minute, van de Haar executed a free kick from a long distance, the ball hit Zubkov and "disabled" Brignoli for 1-1. In fact, the "yellow and black" defense "lost" unjustifiably in the 56th minute, Kostons made the "race" undisturbed and Reisiger easily scored for the upset, 2-1!

The... shock "woke up" the AEK players, with Marin's foul being difficultly cleared by de Graaf in the 58th minute, while in the next minute Jovic's volley ended up as a corner kick. In the 61st minute, the entry of Mandalou and Zini improved the image of the Union, which increased its "turns" and reached its own reversal! In the 66th minute, Mukundi "warned" with a header after Marin's corner kick and Varga took his "weapon".

Once again, Marin pulled the strings, avoiding his opponent from the right and "serving" for Varga's stunning header that made it 2-2 in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, the Zwolle defense took the... bite out of Varga, while in the 79th minute they did not have time to capitalize on Mandalo's spin. In the 80th minute, Jovic received a "stop", Kutesa came on as a substitute with Marin-Mandalo controlling the center, and in the 87th minute, Rota crossed for Varga, who headed the ball, and the ball found its foot for the final 2-3!

The preparation will continue with the friendly test on Wednesday (29/7) with Samsunspor and the one next Sunday (2/8) with Sint-Truiden. Then, the Union will make its way back to Athens before the Superbet Super Cup.

Αν και βρέθηκε πίσω στο σκορ με 2-1 (56') μέσα σε πέντε λεπτά, η ΑΕΚ πέτυχε την ανατροπή με δυο γκολ του Μπαρνάμπας Βάργκα και έφθασε στην τρίτη φιλική νίκη σε τέσσερα ματς, περιμένοντας την μεταγραφική ενίσχυση.

Στη βροχερή Ολλανδία και το «MAC³PARK Stadion», η Ένωση μπήκε στον αγώνα με διάθεση να τον ελέγξει απόλυτα. Στο 8' σημείωσε την πρώτη τελική με το σουτ του Πήλιου να μπλοκάρεται από τον ντε Γκράαφ έπειτα από ωραία ανάπτυξη και κάθετη πάσα του Κοϊτά. 

Το πρώτο 20λεπτο πέρασε γρήγορα, με την ομάδα του Μάρκο Νίκολιτς να πιέζει το «build up» της Τσβόλε και να κυκλοφορεί με άνεση την μπάλα όποτε είχε την ευκαιρία. Στο 23' ο ντε Γκράαφ μπλόκαρε την κεφαλιά του Γιόβιτς μετά το κόρνερ του Μαρίν, από τα πολλά που κέρδισαν οι «κιτρινόμαυροι», ενώ στο 26' ο Ρέλβας μπλόκαρε το σουτ του Τόμας.

Η ΑΕΚ έντεινε την πίεσή της και στο 33' άνοιξε το σκορ (0-1) χάρη στο «σόλο» του Κοϊτά από τα αριστερά, την κίνηση προς τον άξονα και το σουτ από το ύψος της περιοχής, με την μπάλα να κοντράρει και να αφήνει «άγαλμα» τον ντε Γκράαφ. Στο 36' η κεφαλιά του Βάργκα έφυγε εκτός, ενώ στο 42' ο Μπρινιόλι μπλόκαρε το φάουλ του Όστινγκ. Ημίχρονο στο 0-1.

Επιστρέφοντας από τα αποδυτήρια, ο Σέρβος προπονητής της ΑΕΚ δεν προχώρησε σε αλλαγές. Η Τσβόλε μπήκε πιο αποφασισμένη, συγκεντρωμένη, πήρε τα ηνία και έκανε την ανατροπή μέσα σε πέντε λεπτά! Στο 51' ο φαν ντε Χάαρ εκτέλεσε ένα φάουλ από μακρινή θέση, η μπάλα κόντραρε στον Ζούμπκοφ και «απενεργοποίησε» τον Μπρινιόλι για το 1-1. Μάλιστα, η «κιτρινόμαυρη» άμυνα «χάθηκε» αδικαιολόγητα στο 56', ο Κόστονς έκανε την «κούρσα» ανενόχλητος και ο Ρέιζιγκερ πλάσαρε εύκολα για την ανατροπή, το 2-1! 

Το... σοκ «αφύπνισε» τους παίκτες της ΑΕΚ, με το φάουλ του Μαρίν να διώχνει δύσκολα ο ντε Γκράαφ στο 58', ενώ στο επόμενο λεπτό το βολέ του Γιόβιτς κατέληξε κόρνερ. Στο 61', η είσοδος των Μάνταλου και Ζίνι βελτίωσε την εικόνα της Ένωσης που ανέβασε «στροφές» και έφθασε στη δική της ανατροπή! Στο 66' ο Μουκουντί «προειδοποίησε» με κεφαλιά μετά το κόρνερ του Μαρίν και ο Βάργκα πήρε το «όπλο» του. 

Ξανά ο Μαρίν κίνησε τα... νήματα, απέφυγε τον αντίπαλό του από τα δεξιά και «σέρβιρε» για την καρφωτή κεφαλιά του Βάργκα που έγραψε το 2-2 στο 68'. Στο 73' η άμυνα της Τσβόλε πήρε την... μπουκιά από τον Βάργκα, ενώ στο 79' δεν πρόλαβε να αξιοποιήσει το γύρισμα του Μάνταλου. Στο 80' ο Γιόβιτς δέχθηκε το «στοπ», ο Κουτέσα πέρασε ως αλλαγή με τους Μαρίν-Μάνταλο να ελέγχουν το κέντρο και στο 87' ο Ρότα σέντραρε για τον Βάργκα, ο οποίος πήρε την κεφαλιά, η μπάλα βρήκε και στο πόδι για το τελικό 2-3!

Στη συνέχεια της προετοιμασίας θα ακολουθήσουν το φιλικό τεστ της Τετάρτης (29/7) με την Σαμσουνσπόρ και αυτό της άλλης Κυριακής (2/8) με την Σεντ Τρούιντεν. Έπειτα, η Ένωση θα πάρει το δρόμο της επιστροφής για την Αθήνα πριν από το Superbet Super Cup.
