A great performance for OFI, which in the context of the 11th round of the Volley League prevailed over the previously undefeated Milon with a 3-0 set in Heraklion.

The Cretans presented an excellent face throughout the match and rose to 18 points, continuing dynamically in 5th place and consolidating their presence in the top six.

On the other hand, Milon experienced its first defeat in the championship, but remained in 1st place with 28 points.

Despite the fact that OFI was behind in the score in the first set, it reacted ideally, brought the set to a draw and in the overtime managed to win it with 27-25, laying the foundations for the big victory.

In the second set, the Cretans had to deal with pressure again, as they found themselves at -4. From 12-12 onwards, however, they took control, went ahead and with the right choices in defense and offense, they reached 25-22, making it 2-0.

With their morale high, Giannis Kalmazidis' players entered the third set strongly, building an early lead (5-1, 9-2). Although Milonas tried to come back at the end, OFI maintained its composure and "sealed" the victory with 25-23.

Σπουδαία εμφάνιση για τον ΟΦΗ, που στο πλαίσιο της 11ης αγωνιστικής της Volley League επικράτησε του μέχρι πρότινος αήττητου Μίλωνα με 3-0 σετ στο Ηράκλειο.

Οι Κρητικοί παρουσίασαν εξαιρετικό πρόσωπο σε όλη τη διάρκεια της αναμέτρησης και ανέβηκαν στους 18 βαθμούς, συνεχίζοντας δυναμικά στη 5η θέση και εδραιώνοντας την παρουσία τους στην πρώτη εξάδα.

Από την άλλη, ο Μίλωνας γνώρισε την πρώτη του ήττα στο πρωτάθλημα, παραμένοντας ωστόσο στην 1η θέση με 28 βαθμούς.

Παρά το γεγονός ότι ο ΟΦΗ βρέθηκε πίσω στο σκορ στο πρώτο σετ, αντέδρασε ιδανικά, έφερε το σετ στα ίσια και στην παράταση κατάφερε να το κατακτήσει με 27-25, βάζοντας τις βάσεις για τη μεγάλη νίκη.

Στο δεύτερο σετ, οι Κρητικοί χρειάστηκε ξανά να διαχειριστούν πίεση, καθώς βρέθηκαν στο -4. Από το 12-12 και μετά, όμως, πήραν τον έλεγχο, πέρασαν μπροστά και με σωστές επιλογές σε άμυνα και επίθεση έφτασαν στο 25-22, κάνοντας το 2-0.

Με την ψυχολογία στα ύψη, οι παίκτες του Γιάννη Καλμαζίδη μπήκαν δυνατά και στο τρίτο σετ, χτίζοντας από νωρίς διαφορά (5-1, 9-2). Παρότι ο Μίλωνας προσπάθησε να επιστρέψει στο τέλος, ο ΟΦΗ διατήρησε την ψυχραιμία του και «σφράγισε» τη νίκη με 25-23.
