The "wound" of Steph Curry's absence was evident in Game 3, with the Golden State Warriors not hitting a single three-pointer in the half.

The absence of Steph Curry has cost the Warriors a lot. The "warriors" are now behind 2-1 against the Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals and are writing... a negative record.

One of them is in three-pointers. Can the Warriors without a three-pointer be done? The answer is no. And yet the first half against the Timberwolves found Kerr's team hitting only iron.

The Warriors finished the half with 0/5 three-pointers, something that the team had not done since 2007, in terms of playoffs. Then, in a game against the Mavericks, the Golden State team did not hit any of its attempts in the half and was defeated in the finals with 112-99.

Despite their miss, the Warriors held the lead with 42-40 at halftime. But the absence of Steph Curry and a little later the fouls of Draymond Green, gave the Timberwolves space to achieve the "double".

The first to... break the pomegranate from the perimeter was, who else, Buddy Hield early in the 3rd period. But the Warriors' 10/23 three-pointers were not enough for Steve Kerr's team, which is now behind in the series and does not know when it will have its leader back.

Η «πληγή» της απουσίας του Στεφ Κάρι φάνηκε στο Game 3, με τους Γκόλντεν Στέιτ Γουόριορς να μην ευστοχούν ούτε σε ένα τρίποντο στο ημίχρονο.

Η απουσία του Στεφ Κάρι έχει κοστίσει αρκετά στους Γουόριορς. Οι «πολεμιστές» βρίσκονται πλέον πίσω στο σκορ με 2-1 απέναντι στους Τίμπεργουλβς, στους ημιτελικούς της Δύσης και γράφουν... αρνητικά ρεκόρ.

Ένα εξ αυτών στα τρίποντα. Γουόριορς χωρίς τρίποντο γίνεται; Η απάντηση είναι όχι. Και όμως το πρώτο ημίχρονο απέναντι στους Τίμπεργουλβς βρήκε την ομάδα του Κερ να σημαδεύει μονάχα σίδερο.

Οι Γουόριορς ολοκλήρωσαν με 0/5 τρίποντα το ημίχρονο, κάτι που για την ομάδα είχε να συμβεί από το 2007, όσον αφορά τα playoffs. Τότε, σε ένα παιχνίδι απέναντι στους Μάβερικς, η ομάδα του Γκόλντεν Στέιτ δεν ευστόχησε σε καμία προσπάθειά της στο ημίχρονο και ηττήθηκε στο φινάλε με 112-99.

Το πρώτο τρίποντο των Γουόριορς

Παρά την αστοχία τους, οι Γουόριορς κράτησαν το προβάδισμα με 42-40 στο ημίχρονο. Αλλά κάτι η απουσία του Στεφ Κάρι και λίγο αργότερα τα φάουλ του Ντρέιμοντ Γκριν, έδωσαν χώρο στους Τίμπεργουλβς να πετύχουν το «διπλό».

Ο πρώτος που... έσπασε το ρόδι από την περίμετρο ήταν, ποιος άλλος, ο Μπάντι Χιλντ από νωρίς στην 3η περίοδο. Αλλά τα 10/23 τρίποντα των Γουόριορς δεν ήταν αρκετά για την ομάδα του Στιβ Κερ, που πλέον βρίσκεται πίσω στη σειρά και δε γνωρίζει πότε θα έχει πίσω τον ηγέτη της.
